Anyway I'm happy to see 00 00 because this means that the SSD in my RAID array are automatically cleaned by one way or another. This tool is clearly useful.

FYI I ran the tool again on my RAID array and now it is all 00 00 00. It's possibly due to the garbage collector, not sure.

Well said. I chose the 840TLC for my mother in law, it should be pretty reliable. Can't believe how good is this Nand and controller! It's even better than some MLC SSD, as you said.

Wow! Seems that the 840 TLC is a really good SSD. Prices are going down too.

TRIM takes a few seconds to work, look at HDD led when deleting >4GB files.

TRIM is an OS thing. XP doesn't have TRIM, it ends there.

I modded my BIOS. It was pretty easy once you know what to do.

Flashing went smoothly. I switched from AHCI to RAID after enabling IastorV in the registry. I can see 11.6 in the RAID boot...

The release note is only for the toolbox, any info on a firmware release note?

I found info from the tweaktown guy.

FW 5.0.3 was not WHQL certified, that's why 5.0.4 was needed.

FW 5.0.5 adds new Nand support and may give a little performance boost.

FW 2.25 on OCZ now available. Not much changes:
Issues resolved since version 2.22:

• Fixed the normalized value calculation for SMART Attribute 9 (Power-On Hours)

• Fixed a SATA error...
