It means Intel investors will have high confidence in the future of Intel.
If you look at the recent evaluation of the company, it is only worth 5 billion. Intel is worth almost 70 billion. It costs over 2 billion just to make a fab. Also AMD lost a quarter of it's worth in...
Well the current record is 8000+ by a quadcore Penryn system. I don't see how any AMD system will overcome that.
Someone said there would be negligible difference from a 975 to an x38 chipset.
You cannot use high end DDR3 memory on the 975x so that difference is what I pointed out. Also there is the PCIe 2.0...
Depends what you put into it. Some 1900mhz DDR3 overclocked to 2Ghz speed is something that is impossible on the 975 chipset.
Whao -109 temp. Now that is extreme.
Great job man.
Also it is great to see demonstratable results of future cpus, and 10 WR's.....WOW.
I think in the past overclocking was viewed as a troublesome niche by Intel...

I have recieved nothing but disrespectful replies.
This thread has no real value when the numbers presented are not believed and wild interpretations of them ensue. I only pointed out the obvious,...
I am a potential customer, not some mindless fanboy.
I want to see real numbers that are proudly presented to the public to demonstrate the benefits of a new product. And I want them to be...
Wow, I never seen so much grasping at straws in my life.
Wish this thread was more about truth in numbers than soap operas......losing interest fast.
Came across some interesting cpu bench scores.
In an article,

So you lunch with SR AMD people.
You should have all the answers then.
If Anandtech and like sites are not in the loop, why did AMD bother to give them test samples? Especially considering your...
That was like a hot knife through fud flavored butter, spot on.
Looking at the evga card on newegg, it comes with 2 special pcie power cords, each having 2 12v molex ends. Perhaps you need to use them with all 4 molex attached to properly power that beast instead...

Here is an example of a 2 Gb set priced at $150 that is advertised as 4-4-3-8 DDR2 800. A customer review claims to hit 1000+mhz. This is just an example there are plenty of cheap deals to take a...

Lol at all the doubters in this thread.
Now we are seeing copycat results using lax timings, one 512mb stick in single channel achieving the same thing.
Seems he showed the way and deserves some...
Very clever way to get the most FSB, funny nobody else thought of one stick all loose timings with a 6X multiplier. It was right in front of everyones noses but nobody else thought of trying it,...
If you remember Netburst was tied to the Rambus memory when it was introduced. Rambus at the time offered phenominal bandwidth compared to ddr1 and we all know netburst thrives on bandwidth. Rambus...
LOL, a need for fud. :slapass:
Looks like all of the -insert name here- fudware websites just got the green light from AMD.
Freaking awesome man. Great job and congrats on the WR!!!
All of you LN2 cooling guys must be in a state of utopia. :D
