At the title says, I am looking for someone in SoCal who has experience building phase change units.
This is not for a PC, but rather I am looking for someone to help me converting a window or...
It's not like it's optimizing drivers, it's putting specific code in game built specifically for your GPU that hampers the competition in the process. This would be a problem if AMD was doing it,...

"Optimal" is a 680 for Nvidia, but for AMD they recommend a 290x...
Code written by Nvidia, heavily optimized for Nvidia and effectively lowers AMD performance. Ubisoft has been the biggest partner for this.
Yeah, a replacement for DX. Not the same...
So what you're saying is unless paid, game developers will dumb down every PC port. C'mon man...
It's not mutually beneficial when you have two GPU companies buying off developers to use code that makes their products excel. Sure, it's great as a consumer when you own the card in question, but...
Gameworks serves as a nice performance boost for Nvidia over AMD. It's a great marketing tool and a great way to ensure their cards are optimized better for these games. I don't buy the whole 'we are...
I was disputing your anti-performance claim.
^ That.
If he could sell his 690 for $325-400, that would be a heck of an upgrade for the $!
Oh I definitely don't think that, I was just saying it's a huge upgrade performance wise. Two 970's for under $660 would be a much better buy.
You're kidding, right? Min/rec specs for games are rubbish. As for not being noticeable to the human eye, I completely disagree. In the last 12 months I've gamed with with 2x7970's, 2x290x's, 290x,...
It's still a good card, yeah, but SLI 970's or 980's would still be a huge upgrade. My main rig has gone through crossfired 7970's, crossfired 290x's, a 780 Ti, and now a 970, but don't take my word...
EVGA is killing it with their PSU's right now. Bang for the buck, their highly touted gold G2's are awesome and cheap. Can't go wrong with their platinum flagship, though.
It would be a huge upgrade, especially if you game above 1080P. Make no mistake about it.
No one knows about whatever comes after the 980, however EVGA is under the assumption it can't be too far off (the reason they aren't releasing a Kingpin 980).
This is what happens when you put a facility in a high-risk country without adequate security. smh.
Everyone is playing with the big boy chips, nothing about the little G3258 :p:
Pre-ordered mine almost two weeks ago from Newegg. Originally 6/25, then they pushed it back to 7/1, sigh.
He is getting it for free.
Cooler/temps?

Good news...
True, and if they build it, they will come lol. I guess if someone has the money to burn for one or two of these bad boys then the cost of a MB or cooling won't be an issue lol.
I was referring strictly to overclocking. Even with the mildest of OC's these things are going to draw insane power.
