I know they're 24v Umax units and that's why I advised to run them off 12v PSU. If you want to keep it all in your case and still be able to stay sane due to fans noise levels it is not feasible to...

You called good Sir.
It’s been a while since I posted here so.. good to see regulars in top form :) !
Im interested in your progress since I’m planning on using similar modules for a project...
Thumbs up!
Kudos Sirs!
Do you remeber Intel leaked (was it?) article showing 10Ghz Pentium CPU in lab conditions? ;)
It all depends waht do you want from your card (didn't ypu post on the same subject at O-CuK?)
For ocing and benching - yes, it is worth it and if you decide to to be brave and volt mod you may be...
I presume you mean 'close to room temps' colant temp, right?
Doesn't look like it :)
Where did you get yours and what are the specs (Umax, Imax, Qmax, dims)?
Right, posted in your original thread :)
To cure your probs with drooping 12v line at your dedicated TEC PSU simply load 5v and 3.3 line with some load (flash light bulbs are good for that since you always know if they work).
Yuor PSU is...
Nice unit! Drop me a line where did you buy it if you can of course:)
Where did you think of placing this TEC and how you thought would it help your condensation?
Dithch the beer loop and unless yo uare planning on running it 24/7 reduce volume of chilled liquid (shorter pull down times).
Simply exchange beer loop for a solid block of non-floating material:)
K eweast, I can tell you that it is the truth.
It is difficult to get any empirical data to back it up but supported by Kryotherms simulation software 172 Drift-08 module stops working at -110C...
I don't quite understand the 'lag/nep' thingie :(
If you are asking about condensation proofing then what you need is a regular pipe insulation as available for any DIY store (I think it's called...
What is 'the low voltage' ?
Dangerous for what?
Can't help, too unclear :(
eweast, where did you get this data that TECs stop working correctly at -40C?
Maybe he didn't go with vddim high nuff?
NitroRat, you may add as many fans as you like and nuthing will change simpl beacuse the block is not able to shift any more thermal energy!
That's why we advise to run it at lower volts thus...
You're barking up the wrong tree I am affraid.
What I like it does not matter.
Do you believe in electricity?
Have you ever seen an electron?
When I have some time I'll drop a link or write...
^^^^^
Just have some good fan(S) handy
Run it sth close to half its rated Umax since you will get mre heat pumping power with less own heat dumped.
which your block will enjoy very much :)
There is no point in going much lower than -120 wiht PC technology, some anomalies with CPU behavior occur which I don't even want to star explaning...
YEah, beautiful!
NitroRat, and what does i tell you?
IT gives working temp range, not top performance brackets:)
Why every top ocer with sub zero cooling uses Ceramique then?
Is it Umax 24v or ~16v?
I don't know Aseteks blocks and they do not make anywaves in ocing community.
40x40mm cold plate for your 226 watter is to small, you gotta have min 50x50mm one (min as big as your TEC is) your rad...
RMA it, TECs with cracks are wase and dangerous and may be producing more heat gkiing.
THe best way is to buy high Umax and high Qmax TEC and run it at half or third of its rated Umax to get the...
