Are you really running Windows Server 2000, or is that a VM?

Have messaged the green board's eBay seller with a copy of the manual, he's going to get back to me with anything they know about the boards that we've missed :)

That would probably be the pics in my Silverstone PS02..

It doesn't fit normally, I had to

What I'd be concerned about is reverse voltages and whatnot by running the atx. Good chance the board has protections so you may be ok :) Where are you located btw?
The standard 24/20 pin plug from a PSU will NOT run this board, chances are it will damage it, hence why we use the EPS4/8 pins and PCIe 6 pins only. Thought that was pretty clear :/
Yup, you can...
You're gunna have issues once you go multi-CPU, 2000 series only support running in pairs, not sets of 4
You need ECC REG not ECC
Have you read the first post? you may have even blown the...
So 8380's work in the green board or are you still testing?
If you want to run Windows on one of these, you must do it via running a virtual machine. You lose GPU acceleration (unfortunately the nVidia chipset on the board isn't supported for the GPU...
B3 stepping requires 1.0.6 to access BIOS
Windows will not install, board's BIOS ACPI is incomplete and Windows packs a sad. I assume the board was designed as an OEM solution for quad socket...
He does sleeving and whatnot - he sells the plugs to help out other modders
Sirs. I have found a cheaper source of plugs for these monsters:

Odd, apart from the RAM slot issue, mine has been stable!
AXM77, very much appreciated.
Yeah, the Arima is a fussy beast, only for those who are determined to get older, obsolete, unsupported hardware running.. it's frustrated me on more than one...
7/vista pro/ultimate should be fine - it will only show two cpus, but all I want to see is if the ACPI is complete. Thanks dude
Damn. Good to know though - a copy of that BIOS would be appreciated, maybe it's a bit more.. open than 1.06 (i.e. easier to hack), or have different ACPI. If you could, could you please grab a photo...
If i could actually get a BIOS opened up properly, we could see and grab the best bits of each BIOS version, mash em up and see what we get :D
I hope it's split power plane - the power phases are much different. I note 7 instead of 5 caps per CPU around each socket. I suppose the real defining factor will be a real world test. I sense my...
Forgot to mention, my green is D750-106
Interestingly, if the codes match, the MS board has bios version 10.01!
Let me know about the MS board. 1/4 the ram slots on my green board are..dead.. so I'm investing in a new board in Feb.. either one of those boards, and swap my green bios chip in if needed

Which one is on the way to you? There are fan connectors on the MS board, they're just harder to find :P
interesting development guys

I wish I didn't have so many projects on the go.. thats an epic deal!
According to my research, someone ran 8358 SE's with no issues (I even put a note in the manual for it :P)
