if u were resizing or applying filters on multiple photos at once, u would have a cpu/thread limited workload.

what do u mean with "faster"? ur mp3 won?t play back faster, ur photos can?t get faster to ur harddrive than ur flash card controller allows it.
u can maybe see a difference if u compress/decompress...
