Did you read my Pmem post?
I did the tweak like outlined in the guide, hit update, and that worked, i had a nice boots in everest, however i can't make the changes stick, after reboot settings go...
That's fair enough. I'm in no rush anyway, i will keep you updated if and when i get the RMA replacement from OCZ and see how well those modules run, HighHertz results look promising tough.
I was...
Aren't those top end low voltage blades rated at PC2-9600 1200Mhz our best bet at 500 FSB - 1000Mhz under a tRFC of 42?
And what do you make of these low voltage platinum's? they have the same...
Yes the blades look like our best shot at 500+FSB on 4GB, but im not sure how the PC2-9200 compare vs PC2-9600 in terms of tRFC at 500FSB..
Any idea?

Going back on your testing method you suggested i do, im a bit confused,
if a cpu can't handle a frequency of 500FSB * 7, won't the cpu have trouble running 500 FSB * 6?
That test was intended to...
Judging from HighHertz screen shots it looks like he got the blades running at 508FSB under a tRFC of just 40 stable, is that right?
Can this be easily done using Blades rated at PC2-9200?
I think there might be a solution here.
OCZ DDR2 PC2-9600/ 1200MHz / Blade Series / Low Voltage / 4GB Kit
Part Numbers 4GB (2x2048MB) D/C Kit PN - OCZ2B1200LV4GK

Can anyone please tell me if PC2-9200 1150 Blades can run @ 500 FSB PC2-8000 1000 under a tRFC of 42 stable?
What about PC2-9600?
Thanks!
Your 1GB modules are rated at PC2-9200 1150 = 575, am i right?
Currently your running them stable at 500 FSB, correct me if im wrong? Or was it 534 FSB?
Well 500 FSB is a substantial down clock...
I might not notice a few extra Mhz but achieving 3.6 Ghz just feels better then say 3.3 Ghz, and who knows that might help me break 60+ FPS in some games, and that counts.
Speaking from my limited...
I removed the cmos battery and moved the jumper for 5 minutes like suggested , and im happy to say my KB came back to life.. i also enabled usb legacy support in bios, so im good now.
Hi
I removed the battery and moved the jumper for 5 minutes and that cleared the cmos and im happy to say, my PS/2 KB is back to life.. you said the reapers got rid of that issue for you, any idea...
Did you get my last PM i sent yesterday?
Any idea how that newegg user got his 4GB Reaper HPC kit flashed and work by SPD? did he just get lucky?

I did as you told me and set the timings to 5-5-5-18-6-42 5-12-5-12 then booted to 470*6 in windows (i left both ram sticks in).
Then i ran setfsb and increased the fsb to 480 which worked (it...
Im not very skilled at this, please be more specific.
You want me to boot at 6.0x * 470FSB / 940 Mhz, memory set to SPD ?
Then set tRFC to 52 in memset, leave all other option as is, apply,...
I just want to give you guys an update.
When i set my memory to SPD, my system won't post at anything above 390FSB/780Mhz 1:1, and memset now works.
I got my memory memtest/orthos stable at...

It looks like the beeps are gone now.. i left all my settings the same as before,
i think those beeps were memory related because the modules require a tRFC of 52+ while my motherboard only supports...
What about it? you believe i can change the tRFC to higher value over bios by using Memset?
Whenever i try running memset 4.0, my system freezes and i have to restart.
I'm limited by a tRFC of 42 in bios, it's the highest value i can set.
I'm looking for a 4GB (2x2GB) memory kit that will do 500 FSB by a tRFC of 42 on my Asus P5B-D, that's the highest tRFC i can set in bios.
From what i have read,it seems like most 2GB modules will...
