Sometimes IRST drivers will leave registry settings behind when uninstalled. Might try cleaning them out.

An excellent test for running a domain controller in a production environment.
Load up Aida64 and check the smart tables. Record how much it degrades over time.
Try them on a different controller or motherboard, see if they still give you problems.
