For my P4 2.4c my 2nd motherboard was the IC7-max3 - BEASTLY!
Now 6-8 core desktop...

on the bright side - OEMs have had plenty time to produce something that is a solid upgrade versus the fairly incremental upgrades we've been seeing past few years.
Meh msrp for 2 year old GPUs, even 10-20% still too high. I'll wait until I see 2nd hand ones on ebay for 50% off MSRP or lower before snagging a update for the 2nd computer.
may be better sticking to older processes to make multi layer designs a bit easier to cool, otherwise the thought of a 8c/16c die in the same space as a 6600k/7700k seems quite toasty
They'll manage to get some momentum back on that from all new models at least for a few months.
Hopefully by then, they'll have mining specific products, separate from graphics cards.
micro-LED (imo) is suited to the often rumored Apple Television / Apple Monitors and likely much easier to produce at those densities.
That isn't going to make other OEMs too happy, which were probably not thrilled to begin with when Dell bough EMC.
I expect to see a lot more weight thrown behind competing solutions if this comes...

why make less money when you can make more?
I doubt they would increase costs and potentially drive more customers towards AMD options.

I agree; flash pricing has stagnated badly despite solid advancements.
