I have two Veloci Raptors 74GB in RAID 0 on ICH010 with 64k stripe and very latest driver + write back cache enabled. When i first installed my drives i benched them, but over the months the same...

Standard is 128k, so what i do is split the difference...64k stripe.

:shakes: bad move IMO, for the price of two X25 why not buy 3 or 4 Vertex and RAID them?....then buy a 2TB for storage? :)

:yepp: it should be tested with mature and final firmware.

On the ICH9/10 you can use 2-6 drives in RAID 0, and also use Matrix RAID.
