Since they are across different subnets try disabling the firewall on the computers, if it helps then you can narrow down the problem. You can ping from one subnet to the other?

920 is a good overclocker, unless someone is handing them over for free I wouldn't. I've recently upgraded to a FX8350 from a 920 and I'm very happy with it.
