I think most of intels hit th limit ~250fsb.

I had 2.6c and didnt go above 255, then I had 3.2 (SL7e5) max fsb 256 and now i have 520 (3.2 LGA775) and max fsb 257, running all dividers didnt help....

Weird problem.

Could this be the reason for me not getting higher FSB? is there somekinda mod to fix this permanetly?

Yes, the 01 setting helped me and now I can run games even with 1:1 ratio, hurray! ;)

The artefacts are there right from the start.

And I have a 80mm fan blowing directly over them.

And I believe memtest86 stress memory more then some game :)

But what is the reason for it? It cannot be bad ram, how else would it pass memtest then ?

I've asked about the vdimm on the other mod section of this forum and I was toled that 3.5V is only limited on my mobo "software" called uGuru. It really raises up voltage, but it's just not showned....

I think i've hit the wall here. I'll try to burn it a little bit and maybe get a few more mhz...

Yes, I am using Abit AS8, but it's somehow "locked" to 3.5V highest...vdimm doesn't go higher, only VTT...strange though...

Just did the simple mod and it works perfectly. Now I just have to put it in more compact look and try to use an active cooling on the mosfets.
