This popped up on a Newegg recently, it appears to be a 7950 with 6+8pin, ie 7970.

The description clearly says, 6+6pin, however its pictured with a 6+8 pin, and the input side of the card appears...

This isn't even remotely close to a DFI, its nothing but a moderate clocker, drop the HT to around 2500 and you should be fine the board also eats volts and likes to over-volt.

Download the latest version of the ASRock OC Tuner, and you will get accurate readings per almost everything.

If you did and still are having issues, I have no idea....

1.4250 set in the OC tuner = 1.3520 idle, load 1.3920.

I use 1.4750 set in the OC tuner = 1.400 idle, load 1.440 its high, but its the only setting that is 24/7 stable for me.

Yes, the 470's are less thermally efficient, however he did bring up a good point, considering in the real world you now can grab a 470 for $279...

You do the math, thats essentially the same PPD...

At 607 vs 675 the 256bit is roughly 17-20% slower, I have no idea how the scaling goes oc'ed. Magazine racing would say you need over 1ghz clock to be even comparable to a 470 at 800, which is an...

Well looks like the 256bit is by far the better buy till you get to a 470, but I still think it needs to come down on price...
