Try manually setting your VSA voltages on the memory banks associated with the cpu. Could be different behaving cpu memory controllers.
here's voltages i use for my Dual Intel Xeon E5-2650 with...
indeed i did :D
Darn i need higher clocking E5s - my dual Xeon E5-2650 stuck down in 2400-2500mhz territory LOL
Finally, my dual Intel Xeon E5-2650 server has been built with Asus Z9PE-D8 WS motherboard.
Had numerous delays due to back ordering of the Asus Z9PE-D8 WS motherboard as well as faulty...
Bracket seems to come off easily once you find the right tool to undo the 4 screws.
As to work it mainly for web/mysql database and multi-threaded work specific to my consulting work. Will also...
Thanks OC Nub, i think i should be fine as E5-2650 lower clocked and E5 series doesn't have much oc'ing headroom - this is a work rig I am building.
Good news is got that Coolermaster broken off...
Might be interested but first need to give my Z9PE-D8 a run on air after i fix broken off cpu standoff lodged in cpu screw mount on the board heh.
Thanks endlesszeal, seems to be the consensus need to drill/reverse bit/extractor to do the job.
Thanks to Booj, he gave a good tip to remove the LGA2011 socket first so drilling doesn't damage...

Even write speed results for regular Hitachi SATA would be nice in raid 5 at least. Intended purpose for backup server so sequential read/write only of importance for me :)
not a developer but work in tech support for vbulletin since 2001 :)

Ah didn't know you left thessdreview.. congrats on TT jig though :D
yeah Intel 340 SSD series with these SLCs and SF !
Hey Charles been a while :D
What's write speed like ?
Nice show case of thunderbolt performance.. love to see this make it's way to server/workstation motherboards too - would make one fast...
nice didn't know you're writing for tweaktown too now
wonder how much more performance there is to gain with 30 or 40% over provisioning ?
wow SLC that is affordable... can't wait to see this pricing trend on SLC flow into web hosting/database server markets as well :D
I don't think the memory or Z68 Maximus IV Gene-Z board or my 3570K IMC is allowing me to do 2256Mhz 9-9-9-x. Just updated Maximus IV Gene-Z from 3305 to 3402 bios, so re-testing again. Probably,...
Does this include SSI-EEB form factor support i.e. Asus Z9PE-D8 WS http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_2011/Z9PED8_WS/ ?
Waves at everyone :D
Swapped over from 2700K to 3570K L208B104 cpu with 2x4GB Samsung 1600 30nm 1.35v memory on same motherboard Asus Maximus IV GeneZ.. looking good cpu clock wise :)
