Well, I would like to get these stick at least to their rated 3000-15-17-17-35 @1.35V.

Finally got around to upgrading my system when I got hold of a 2nd hand Rampage V Extreme, 5930K and Corsair Dominator 3000C15 v4.23.
However, being out of the overclocking loop for a couple of...
In which order did you connect your blocks and rads?
Though in one of the stickies you linked to they do suggest separate loops for CPU and GPU:
"When considering a GPU block, also remember that GPUs run pretty hot. Adding one to a single loop will...
This was something I thought might decrease performance when you have the hot water from the CPU going directly into the GPU so that's why I wanted to have two separate loops...
I notice in your...
I'm getting rid of the Vapochill LS for my next PC build as it's just too noisy and can't hold modern CPU-loads anymore.
Planning to use a Corsair Obsidian 900D case with two separate water...
You beat me to it!
The board is an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe with the last beta bios from Asus website.
Temps are in the 50C range under load so they are definitely not the problem.
I raised the Vdimm to 2.75V just to give the mem some extra juice but it didn't help.
FlawleZ: I set 1.675V after...

RAM is some budget 2x512MB Kingston PC3200 and CPU-cooler is a Scythe Infinity that I previously used on a C2D.
Possibly it's the RAM that's holding me back but at least a few MHz more FSB should be...
I'm trying to overclock and old Northwood PC I've got here just for fun but for some reason it just won't budge a bit...
I set Vcore to 1.675V and then try to raise the FSB but anything...
Just FYI, I'm running at QX9770 with a Corsair H50 and a P5Q Deluxe at 4.3GHz 1.45V without any problems. I used to run a QX9650 at the same speeds as well but it required more voltage.
Get the H50 or H70! Cools better and more quietly than any HSF and takes up less space on the mobo!
I've clocked two Gulftowns to 4.52GHz stable on RIIE using H50 without any problems! :)
Durzel: How did you mod your Vapo?
I'm looking into how to mod my Vapo so it can handle the load from my 980X.
Right now it's working if I use programs that only use 1-2 threads but more than...
I've been away from the forums the last six months so I didn't see this post until now.
Anyway, I've got a 980X on a P6T Deluxe V2 that I'm running at 5GHz with the help of a Vapo LS.
But I've...
Any news about a non-throttling bios for 980X?
And that's what I was thinking as well just now so I ordered another 7K2000 drive that I will be running in RAID-1 together with the replacement I'll get from Hitachi!
It's still under warranty but I need something to back up as much as possible from it until I get a new one from Hitachi. And seeing how quickly this one gave up I was thinking some other brand might...
I've got a Hitachi 7K2000 2TB drive that I bought back in January that seems to be dying on me... It's been running almost 24/7 since I got it and used for torrent downloading and storage. But two...
I've got the exact same problem using 0707! Throttles like crazy as soon as I get above 3.8GHz...
Is the Vapo stable with the temps on a fully loaded and overclocked Gulftown with those mods?
I'm currently running a stock Vapo with a Gulftown at 4.83GHz and 1.6V but loading it more than 50% and...
Just had my PC case and Vapo LS lying on its side for about 30 mins while I swapped CPUs.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that I should let the LS stand upright and settle for some time...
I just updated to 0707 on my P6T Dlx V2. For some reason I just can't get it to boot from my RAID-0 setup again. I've set SATA configuration to RAID and set Intel RAID0 as no. 1 in the boot priority...
I've noticed something as well. I used to run a QX9770 at 4.51GHz with 2GB Corsair DDR-2 and a GTX 285. With that setup I got average FPS with Crysis benchmark around 46 FPS in XP 32-bit, 1280x1024...
