Was going to post a quick reply blindly, then I stopped and read and found that you beat me.
tl:dr, i hate you :(
It was from one of the users in this subforum, i will attempt to find the thread. Mayhaps I had been mislead
I was under the impression (as per a post from intel) that most of them would be at or around 3.8ghz stock, as in all of the i7's and I believe the two top end i5's....
what happened lol.
I purchased an Asus laptop 6 years ago and ended up needing to go through the warranty process with it. Due to the fact that it took me nearly a week to get anything done with their service and could...
been using my Iwaki for 8 years almost.
Honestly I think you are right on the money with the lack of the gap, something is not aligned properly. Probably a defect from the factory.
I doubt that the 1/8" is going to make that big of a difference.
Cathar and Maxx :(
TY for the responses!
Seems my old way of thinking isnt so far off ^_^
Thankfully I will be using my Iwaki which will push quite a bit of water, and since I will not be using any elbows I...

I do check the stickies ;) I was mainly curious as to whether or not many...
So, Its been years since Ive actually done any real work in WC (since the Storm release). Ill post here and there answering some quick questions with my old school knowledge but after looking around...
Never overclocked before so this is my first post in this area :)
Ive had my UD3 for about 2 years now with an i7-920.
Just decided to finally overclock it with a coolermaster block on it (air)...
Also you can go to www.planetsourcecode.com
They have tons of tutorials and code that folks have posted that works great for examples.
Like I said earlier, as far as pretty goes It doesnt matter to some people like me. I just go for best performance, the same reason I use 212 cfm deltas for my rads and interal fans.
^_^ but...
This is the glory of the RES.
T Line's are much more of a pain in the rear.
I wonder if perhaps you could remove the plastic cover on the card and then form a custom shroud for it, this would leave the radiator intact but you could potentially mount other fans onto the...
Its been years since I have ventured into this forum. Great post though! Some of the resources were known to me but now I can add a few others,
I got pulled over yesterday and had a medical issue come up, so funding for the case got spent and put on hold for the time being :(
A lot of us go based on performance rather than the aesthetics of a block.
TBH I see no problem with it. BUT maybe they will begin offering more options design wise?
The main issue here is...
Ive had mine since MaxxRacer was admin here (who also swore by them), and ive never owned another pump.
Also, the noise factor means nothing to me since I have 4x Deltas pushing 200cfm running.

Iwaki!
My Iwaki pushes a ridiculous amount of water. And honestly for 120$ you wont get much better.
Ofc, a lot has changed since my day, back when Cathar and the others swore by iwaki lol.
It just looks like where the water line used to be, and over time little bits have evaporated out and it leaves that residue, which is typically minerals or anything else that was in the water at the...
Or if someone would be awesome enough to give me a link to figure this out :D
Ive got the flu atm so my googling skills are null and void.
I just use deltas. I know they will push massive amounts of air and I can always rely on them to be loud as hell.
Done and done :yepp:
