Still running mine with my Q6600 @ 3.6GHz. I've been really tempted my bite the bullet on a 2500k setup, but my ip35, Q6600 and GTX 580 are giving me 60FPS on BF3, Skyrim, Rage and anything else I...

I disagree with the blame for XSPC tops. I have the same top running flawlessly with my two DDC 3.2's.
I helped Jeff put his rig together and where I'm using a MM U2-UFO and two lower power pumps...
MM UFO, beast is a rockstar.
2nd using mcmaster. i shop there all the time, great selection, good prices and fast shipping.
As Alexandr0s said, the earlier 45º rotaries had some issues but it's all good now. Just make sure your tube isn't putting excessive tension on it and you'll be fine.
Yep, they rotate.
The fitting between the rad and the 4-way is a male to male rotary and there is enough play in the tubing to allow me to rotate each one up to stick a tube on for draining.
...
Here's how I did mine. Both drain ports are at the lowest point of each respective loop.

As h20xide said, what makes you think you have to put it your res? Ianh's kill coils are coils for a reason. ;)

In my old setup I had a 360 rad up top and a 240 rad on the bottom both as intake for positive pressure because I hate dust.
If you have you bottom rad as intake sucking fresh air from the...
Cut a bit of tubing in half and put it through your fillport with the curved side facing the pump intake.
I just refilled my loops tonight and it took about 5mins minus the micro bubbles that will...
I assume the D5 res is the same as the DDC res in that the bottom is completely open so the pumps can breath.
Look where the wire is hanging down, I'd guess that whole area is open and only the...
Nice, very much looking forward to the results.
@Philwong
Here's the new version of the res. I obviously have the 2x DDC version, but you can see the top piece of acrylic goes all the way to the back.
Please excuse the micro bubbles, I just...
Can you only buy what sells on newegg?
That would be awesome if so. I know the newest DDC version that I have personally tried still didn't fit, but perhaps they changed the D5 version.
Nah, if it's like the 2x DDC dual bay res, the 800D has rails that have to be filed down a bit. You can technically jam it in, but it 100% kills the anti-vibration rubber grommets.
Not a huge...
If they're all soldered together and terminating at a 3pin, just grab one of the 3pin to molex adapters that came with your GTs and plug them straight into your PSU to make sure they come on.
I...
Agreed, 8800 is old hat by now.
I went the opposite route last year, I kept my Q6600 @ 3.8GHZ and replaced my 8800GTX with a GTX295.
Hell, I'm still using it and have had no real need to...
This.
If you don't want to pony up the cash for an enterprise drive, my WD velociraptor and blacks haven't let me down yet.
I used to use WD back in the day exclusively, but after being burned...
Ya, I'm pretty sure that's the one.
I'm at work right now, so I can't 100% verify, but I'll look when I get home and report back unless someone else can do it sooner.
meh
As G4h4o8s6T said, look at the res you bought. If the top piece of acrylic extends all the way over the back panel, it's the new version and you'll be fine.
Agreed. I'd like them all black without the decal, but maybe some nail polish remover would do the trick?
When the DDC XSPC dual bay reses initially came out there were failures due to the adhesive that was used. XSPC RMA'd faulty units overnight with an emailed photograph and replaced the stock of...
+1 for audio technica
I've been using http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-A700-Audio-Technica-Headphones/dp/B000E9VKUQ for over a year now and I love them. Don't get crappy headsets, stick...
