a jigsaw would be the fastest and cleanest way of cutting it. But a dremel should do too but it wont be as clean(a file can fix it) and is very time consuming.
i would use a jigsaw to cut the side panel, very fast process, if u dont have one, buy a cheap rotary tool from your local bunnings which will take longer and wont give a nice smooth edge, but that...
