Gosh that brings back memories. I got one of the GTO2 cards that could be flashed to an XT PE. At half price. Those were the days.
But even so, high end at 650 is not in keeping with tradition....

Listen, as a consumer, I really don't give two craps about inter-firm politics. All I ask is that your focus remains unchanged: To continue to release quality products at appropriate prices. Anything...
I see. When bleeding the system, it would make more sense to me to only have one pump active anyway. Thanks for the tips on the vortex, will definitely have to make sure I fill to the top.
I was...
I'm set on the 35x's because of their PWM functionality. The loudness of the system won't bother me much. Dual D5's are an attractive option simply from a reliability viewpoint, though, but with two...
Suck air into the res? Isn't there an o-ring on the screw cap?
Thanks for your information. It's good to hear it bleeds well.
Hello everybody,
Gosh, it's been a long time since i've posted 'round these parts. Been out of the PC game for a while, but am looking to reignite my interest with a new build and a new loop. I'm...
Would love to see yellow.
Well I have 2 DDC's at the moment and that's why I was wondering if we mounted the pump without top to the bayres.
But if we don't, I don't see how my stock topped DDCs will mount.
Do pumps mount directly onto the maelstrom bayres?
Unfortunately, too many people do.
The internet, where people think their dime-a-dozen faux-contributions are of any interest. To anybody.
Just plain distilled water is all you really need. You can add your own dye or antibacterial / corrosive concentrates in if you like, but I don't and don't have any issues.
We already have more memory bandwidth than most real world applications than use. The benefit of quad channel may only be seen in synthetics.
An extra 2 cores will only benefit properly coded...
Could someone put the results that have so far been observed into more layman terms? I'm having a bit of trouble following.
Isn't there a rear 120mm fan you can tack an additional 1 x 120 rad to for the extra oomph?
What I don't like about the SR-1 line ups of radiators is that they are geared for push only.
They have a small shroud on the opposite side to the barbs, meaning the radiator is intended for use...
I have the old style PA rads from thermochill, you know, flux monsters. I thought I had cleaned it well the first 3 or 4 times I put up, tore down my loop - nope. I was still cleaning stuff out of...
Gabe,
Are you fellas planning on bringing out an MCR120 Drive?
EVGA X58 boards were also good, not sure if they are still sold though. My SLI micro was a dream to work with.
Then again so was my X58 UD3R, so your mileage may vary.
4 - four
So if you are running 1 CPU block, 1 GPU block and 3 rads, would there be any benefit of using multiple outlets to say, rad and GPU, to parrallelise the flow? Since rads have such a low pressure drop...
Yes that's right, Google takes "extra" measures and does things a little unorthodox, but I suppose they can and, likely need to.
What I found interesting was that they are going to use water...
And here i thought I had a good card at 960 1.15 on stock.
:S
In a new data centre in Hong Kong, Google is liquid cooling their servers. Supposedly it's all on a centralised system as well, which must be amazing to have to design.
This information coming out so soon after Bulldozer's launch huh...
What do higher sequentials do for the average consumer (ie, no video editing, not many large files, etc.)?
