so i have a dual boot osx86 and w7 and am having problems getting w7 to see the bluray on ahci (osx86 sees it fine).

yeah, changed up the voltages from this thread and that did the trick. thanks for the suggestion. figured bad voltages would just bsod, not slow a core, but guess it can. weird.

so I was running my 930 at 3.8GHz 200x19 and scored a 6.58 in cinebench 11.5. I then bumped the multi to 21 for 4.2GHz and the voltages and scored 6.51. What the heck is going on?!?

thanks for the response but i got rid of this thing and replaced it with a x58a-ud3r. oc's my 930 effortlessly at 4ghz, plus it supports osx86 ;)
btw, that did the trick. bumped the voltage a few notches and running like a champ. thanks.

tried to change the timings to 8-8-8-24 (ocz ddr3 1600 gold)...
