OMG!!!
Is this SCULTRAIL overther hanging off the cieling?????
great job!!!
What are these?4850s?
I d say u need a decent 775 mobo-cpu-ram and u ll be fine!
THANKS!
And where would that help?Did u reach a limit where u cant get more OC?
And hwo do u realize the OCP mod?
Do u solder resistor?Of what value?
makes sense...will do it tomorrow...Thanks
Ok sure n o prob but how did u edit it?
Hello!
I just broke to pieces my girlfriends 4yo ex laptop. It wouldnt boot or format, propably of overheating that i confirmed laterz...
Anyway i scavenged many thing that i d like your opinions on...
So what???:)
The card can and the cooler can handle them in games so its ok.Actually u should all know that when u set 1,35 in MSI what u really get is OVER 1,4volt so i dont think that my 1,34 is...
My 5770 @1,2volts/850core with hardmod stays exactly @71 degrees on furmark...
On 1,34 1000core gets over 85...Then i either stop it or it hangs...
I also noticed that the same voltage from 850core...
Hello!
I just bumped on this pdf that contains great info about identifying ALL HYNIX DRAM modules. This should help you in any vmods u try since u know all the specs of the chip!!
I hope u like...
Dont know a sh*t about NV cards but since i am not taht much experienced myself, all i can say is have faith in your self and u ll go fine!!!
I idnt know anything 6months ago but i hardmodded my 4850...
Here is mine!!!I got 2 of them!Does it count more!!!!??????
Elefsina,Attica Greece...
Thanks man! Will confirm as soon as i can!
Yes u are missing tha i hardmodded the card!!!
I dont use software i mod with a VR!Far steadier!!!
2)How do i do that?
From what i saw u need to remove a resistor completely and then solder a...
Can someone explain the VDDC CURRENT%OCP value in the shot ?What deos it calculate?Maybe when it reaches 50% the card shuts down?I heared that this happens on 1,7volts...AND WHY DOES IT GO UP AND...
I saw them...Where did u find them?Scavenged from dead cards? How do u know their capacity and voltage?
And why didnt u solder them in the empty spots that exist there and solder them in the existing...
So if i get this right in my 5770 i should write down all the values that are connected with the FB leg of my cards I2C chip and then measure again after having changed the colts via software...
Now would that about the crosschecking before and after voltage change be the same for every i2c controllable IC?
I mean i.e for my 5770???
Also where are the SMD caps u added?
Yes dut 5750s price doesnt justify the difference from 5770...
Its like 10-15 euros here with which in 5770 u get far better cooler, voltage regulation AND 80 extra shaders...All this for 10-15...
I think so too...So we want to change the vDD right?
My successful pencil mod shows that the uper controller is for the (vDD?)
The thing is that i think i need a very small VR like 10kohm...
I try...
Well it wasa A PAIN IN THE *SS to solder in the front cos of the mem heatsinks but i managed to do it and i verify that it is the same on both sides of the PCB!
Somebody YET has to verify thsi mod...
I measured in the SMD caps located NEAR the chips!!!Dont worry!!
No i didnt measure the front memory chips BUT I MEASURED THE R301 resistor that is in contact with the leg of the OTHER uP controller...
USE ON YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY!!!
OK GUYS just did some testing and found the PENCIL and HARD VMOD!!!!
Its the upper uP controller that manages the vMEM....
Right after i opened the card,i found out that the resistor C304 is connected to the leg of the memory controller and then to the ground....So its the pencil mod right???
HOWEVER WHEN I SHADED FROM...
I agree on 1000 core on EVERY 5770...But after 1020 each MHz comes very HARD!!!
I run 1,46 to get 1030 to bench!!!But then again i think that 80 degrees that my card produces causes that VPU...
