Nice result! :) I could only reach 806 with aircooled FX-8350 @ a bit over 5GHz. I can only run one memory module atm, so single channel might have effected the result aswell. I will try to catch up...

Just found my FX-8150 that earlier managed SP1M at 10.95s. It will be interesting to see what is possible with this fix, LN2 and better memory modules. :)

Still a bit wierd to me though that 3770 works but not 3570k, but I guess it not worth digging more into it as I have the revision that I have. :)

It should not be a difference for me then, even if one of my CPUs are "k"-model and the other one is not...? (the 2700k and 3770 i can swap without any issues)

With 3770 I can boot into windows 7 64-bit with all cores enabled.

With 3570k I get "MULTIPROCESSOR_CONFIGURATION_NOT_SUPPORTED" when trying to load Windows.

It can also depend a bit HOW you are running the test. :) I start Cinebench (but not the bench) and then I wait a couple of minutes to make sure the CPU is as cold as possible before pressing "run"....

54xxMHz something. Decent NB but bad mem-clock. 1.58v vcore if i remember correctly...

I had the same problem. If I remember right, around 350-355MHz was benchable, but then I did not get good NB and mem. That was on UD7, I have not checked if UD5 behaivs the same. :)

Nice one! :) Did you try max NB-clocks for this session? I managed to get +3.7GHz working but with a lot lower mem-clocks. Not sure what is the best though. :D

2133 divider (on Gigabyte FXA990-UD5) worked best for me in SP32M, but I guess it might be because of my crappy sticks. With CAS8 and around 2100MHz i got 15m05s with water cooling. I didn't save it...

I did not dare to check the temps.. :D But after reboot and entering BIOS, temp was ok. The inlet tubing and the outlet tubing felt like they had the same temp so I think a better block...

And with water cooling. Not max clock, but it felt like no use to risk more as the voltage felt high as it was......

I tried Cinebench at 5.4GHz with water cooling as it seemed to be a pretty descent clock compared with others. I noticed that I needed a lot more voltage than I thought... :(...

I think I read somewhere that it was something with firmware that coud cause problems when using port 0&1. I also read that the new firmware (3.5?) should fix that...

That will be interesting. :) Regarding my CPU, I feel that I have to admit to myself that it is not a 8GHz-chip. 7970-7980MHz is max, so it would be nice to test a new rev of this chip. :)

After using Gigabyte 990FXA-UD7 in prevoius bench sessions with AMD FX-8150, I was a bit unsure how 990FXA-UD5 would behave... UD5 should be the little brother of UD7... From the first look I noticed...

I tried this CPU on another board earlier, and I reached 7979MHz with 1.92v wich was the highest volt I could have on that board. On this board I could use higher voltage and I tried up tp 1.98v. Max...

It's 1140CPM and vid 1.275v. After struggeling with getting PCMark-results, I tried Cinebench a few times more. However I did not manage to catch up with you. :)
