I want to apologize for not having more available to post, I do still intend to get this project finished but I have been dealing with some serious marital issues over the last few days and case...
Project: Ventchat
Hello everyone, I can't believe I'm finally getting off my a$$ and getting to work on my next case mod...it's been far to long. This project holds a lot of meaning as it's not...
Quoted for truth!
A huge thanks stasio, some of the changes and fixes look like they may benefit a couple friends of mine.
I'm gonna be gutting a 15'x20' room in the basement in the coming months and building myself some benches for a full mod shop...taking the "before" pics soon. :)
As it's been said, a high-end aircooler can do pretty damn well on many/most chips today...so much of watercooling today is aesthetics and "for the hell of it" that I think it's a little silly to...
This project has motivated me to get to work on my custom cube design I've been toying with. You've got an email coming your way LD. :)
I wouldn't say height is a HUGE concern and it was mostly the depth of the chassis that I thought would be a concern.
The more I think and talk about a single stage unit the more I want to do a...
My main goal with this project is to fit as much as possible within/onto this TJ08 chassis. I'm eager to blow people away with this build but I'm unsure as to the viability of the cooling capability....
I wonder to what extent I would effect the overclock if I used what fit...with the lost cooling potential would it still be beneficial over a decent h2O setup?
Just trying to push the envelope a...
I've been dormant on XS for quite awhile now but as I'm gearing up to start on my next case mod I feel that it might be time to expand my knowledge of phase change systems with the goal of building...
I can definitely see and understand the attraction to the 800D but in the end I'm not sure I'd side with either case if I had to choose.
I've never been one to NEED a full tower case but if...
My initial impression is that it would be software related as opposed to a stability issue but I'm not sure. One would think if it were to fail or generate an error that soon you would be able to...
I found it interesting that there was someone else on XS with the same CPU/Mobo combo as I'm currently running. I have the DP55KG and a couple 875K's for performance analysis for a company and I just...
Crazy crazy stuff man, just goes to show why I'm gonna need more than my PC-7 to find a home for a 420. ;)
Looking better then every man, can't wait to see it in person again. I'm not necessarily a huge fan of the single wire sleeving but it's all about personal preference.
Probably gonna be pickin'...
I went through the actual worklog and he's using the two pumps in series to increase head pressure to compensate for the nine 90 degree elbow joints int the loop.
Don't know if I'm ready to step...
man, in my opinion the undermount radiator is a great idea. I really love how it was done to incorporate the case feet into the radiator housing.
I've been wrestling with different ways to...
And that's what mine is. I'm working at designing a completely internal watercooling loop for the CPU using a 120.2 rad to fit in my mATX TJ08...and knowing that I could move to DFI's X58 mATX board...
Nice...I didn't even see that.
Looks like my little TJ08 will have some upgrades in it's future. :D
Is it just me or does that link not have anything to do with a DFI X58 board???
That's what I'm gonna have to wait for, I'm investing a lot of time in my Silverstone TJ08 mATX case. Sort of a good thing because my the time there are decent mATX boards on the market the chipset...
It's an amazing piece of work...I love this thing!!!
And now with those settings in hand I'm benchmarking @ 4.4GHz on air...thank you so much!
All that's left is to setup a 120.2 loop for the CPU and push for that little bit more.
I'm quite intrigued to see this thread. If in fact many of these 120x1 rads are capable of dissipating up to 170W with enough airflow then would I not be able to get by on a 120.1 setup for my E8400...
