Do these cards have mem chips on both sides and if so how are they cooled by these new blocks. I am confused as some picks show no chips on the top side whereas some do?!

i suffered a similar mishap but only wetted the MB, is it all dry now? I used a hair dryer to slowly dry it out, I have heard that WD 40 can save your hardware, but if it was running when it happened...
Plz explain this a little more, u should be able to get 400fsbx 9 without any problems, i don't understand your setup, are all your ram modules the same? Why 3 gb?
Cheers
I would love to know if 400fsb + Q6600 is a no go on a new striker with soldered bios chip and why 400fsb is OK on A1 revision EVGA???
Apparently the fsb holes are caused by the GTL voltage???!!! the link below has a fix, bit tricky though! Has anyone managed to run 400fsb on a new striker?? Why would this mod fix the fsb hole when...

I have a similar system and the only thing i notice is that having the fans close to grill creates a low humming noise that can be annoying depending on how fast your fans r spinning.
I did think of doing something similar to the Koolance cases, but i think my costs would be to great to compete in that market against firms that have a lot more cash than me. Also I think that...
True, that what i am currently trying to do, just time is not on my side with my current job as well. 3 weekends just to come up with a front panel design that was easily machined and looked OK!!!!
I am currently working with a local engineering firm on building a prototype and will show it as soon as it is ready, for now you will have to imagine what 2 PA 120.3s look like sitting side-by side...
I've been thinking about giving up the day job for a while now and doing something that i really like....... i.e making water cooled cases. I know that there is a fair amount of competition out there...
Look at this thread, http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=157561&highlight=striker+extreme+settings
its for the striker extreme, but i think it is similar to your board
Warning!!!!! Do not use bios 1305, it is buggy and has been known to cause that type of problem! Use 1301, i have just changed my striker and the new one is a lot better than the previous one
I don't understand the point of this cooler! Why have such a bulky design? Surely water is good enough on its own without that pathetic fan!!??
Try at least 1.9v on mem,, 1.3 seems a bit low?!
I can't find the deluxe for sale anywhere, just the premium??!!
Luck is still the name of the game, i had a L628A988 for testing, it would do 3600 but only with 1.65v!!!, ebaying it now
I broke the good e6600 in my sig while removing the IHS, just got this, 7638A760 and it does 3600 at 1.46vcore (bios). temps are good, idles 25 deg and 40 load
I lapped mine and it did not help the high delta temps, so my IHS is coming off tomorrow, off to the hardware store to get a blow torch, burn the dam thing off!
I will let u know if it...
just lapped the cpu! i just hope this is not a problem with these steppings!?
I have the same problem, my e6600 oced to 3.6 and 1.385volts jumps 18 to 20 degrees under load, idle is 30 to 32 degrees, i was thinking of removing the IHS to see if there was poor contact...
I see what u mean, just had a look at mine, they can be removed without breaking them, lots of people do it here when they remove the IHS, so i think as long as u don't over tighten u should be OK. I...
How will it give u better contact? i thought it was only necessary to remove it if u have removed the IHS? The cover won't stop u damaging the cpu as u can add too much pressure with it on..... but...
According to the user manual posted a while back, this pump must not pump downwards! Could anyone explain y this is as i am building a case with these pumps facing down!? I presume it may have...
