Just received a good news, a MSI P45 Platinum and an EP45-DS3P are on their way to my house :D
I think you should consider changing your case, it doesn't suit everything else even a little bit :D
I'm trying your settings
Memory, how is your voltage settings in BIOS ?
Sorry for being late, i was having a very bad flu. I'm all good now.
FIY, The bios is still in first stage of development i think, because it is still very simple, you can only choose among 5...
I will try to do the test with the following configurations, hope i would be luckier than you :-D
Core 2 Duo E8200 / Adata DDR3 1600 Special Edition / MSI 8800GT Overclock Edition...
Now, the chipset and the board layout without circu-pipe
This P7N2 uses DDR3 while P7N uses DDR2
Oopps... camera runs out of battery  I will continue tomorrow
Here comes our little baby :welcome:
Accessories - notice the new X-fi Xtreme Audio card (actually it is just the old one with a metal cover :ROTF: )
Because i have no phenom at home today, so let's start with 790i Ultra :)
Because this is a media sample for reviewer, so there is no sticky on the box
I will take detailed pics :D There isn't any P45 in the package :-(
MSI has just sent me these. Look at the pictures, i'm going to do some picture reviews of those :D
Are there any advices or requests ?
Thx for your precious info. I'm writing a review for some local IT magazines in my country :welcome:
I can only have DDR3 @ wednesday. So, we have to wait.
PS: That circu-pipe on X40 Platinum is quite sharp, my right hand was cut 3 times WITHOUT BEING NOTICED :slapass: when i was trying to remove...
That chip is quite beautiful IMHO :p:
U'r welcome, don't worry about posting :welcome:
It is an ES X48 Chipset... But the printed text is quite hard to see. (Pic 3)
When i was removing the cooling system, i noticed a small chip under the heatpipe, anyone know what is it for ? (Pic...
You should wonder what it's like under chipset's IHS :ROTF:
You bet....
Saaya :ROTF: :ROTF:  MSI, i love it !!! :ROTF:
:slapass: It's the PCB of X38 Diamond
But since the difference between X38 board and X48 board is not so big, MSI can keep...
It has 4 PCI-E X16 slots and a strange device which looks like a group of status LEDs in the corner.
More pictures
Here come the board
Here are the fullset of pictures. I have just ordered a pair of DDR3, they will arrive in wednesday. >.< So eager to boot this baby up.
I have just received this from MSI TW today. Will post some detailed pictures soon. The only problem is i dont have any DDR3 at home ATM -.-
