This was really disappointing. I guess that's another company added to the blacklist.

I jumped on the SSC for $201 shipped. Now I have to figure out what to do with Farcry 2.. bleh!
You could always try other non-conductive liquids, like cooking oil!

Can you clarify your dimensions? "od" is outer diameter. Are you searching for tubing with ID (inner diameter) of 8mm?
Yes, it is normal. Because the surface is uneven, different parts of the heat spreader will be exposed at different depths. It took me a long while to lap my CPU as well, but you should get a full...
You could try to rip a board out of a car in a junkyard. I'm not sure it would be worth that much of a headache to try and build a board that simulates this IC. Going off of a block diagram will be...
Not sure about Windows..
Also, for a HTPC, you don't need a very powerful GPU. You can save on power consumption there too. Windows is definitely nice for the ease of setup, and the drivers are...
DLP seems like kind of a deal breaker.
Which air cooler are you using? Did you plop it into the machine in your sig?

Ninja Gaiden was excellent. It's a shame that more games aren't challenging like that. I miss the old days where there was only one difficulty setting: F***ing hard!
No. It's essentially a higher binned 8800GTX. You should consider the cards in the current generation. AMD has a nice budget offering of 4850's for about 150 and 4870's for about 220. Prices...
I would also invest in a gigabit switch/router. (I have never heard of one that had NIC's in it) Also, if you have dual gigabit ethernet ports and any of your computers, you may be able to have a...
If you decide that you must find out, be very careful when removing the heat spreaders. Sometimes the ICs are not attached that well and will come off if you apply too much for to the spreader. That...
Twice. No responses.
I had a lot of fun with this game. The later levels are really challenging, but worth playing. I sure wish they'd port this to my phone and add a level creator.
I've PMed two different admins without any responses; is there someone in particular that manages the FS section I can contact?
I think I voted, the site is somewhat confusing. The flash seems to take forever to load on my computer too, gah!
Good luck!
If it's a good game, people will buy it.

I'd go with #4 simply for the fact that the D-pad isn't one solid piece of plastic. I think SP1 has the best suggestion of the PS2 controller if you can somehow manage it though.
If you use mythTV, make sure to get the more powerful processor. The program is VERY cpu hungry, especially when using a nice UI over a HD signal.
I have a e6600 at 1.56V the approaches 58C under load. It's currently running at 3.7GHz. I'd really suggest lapping, it made a huge difference with my chip.
That's a pretty insane laptop. I wonder what kind of battery life it gets though. Two GTX's must suck a lot of power.
If you have an actual reservoir, the flow will eventually force all the bubbles into it after a couple days. Then you top it off and close the loop.
