This is not true. I have turbo disabled on my board, and I have a stable 4.7GHz OC.

The Ballistix Z503 modules are 2.8V stock.. i don't think keeping them at 2.9 long term is a problem.
Indeed... bought the Ballistix for the new PC I'll be building soon. Still.. gives you an idea.. sort of.
Re: Ballistix 1Gb modules. I just bought some of these, and I'm very impressed! I can't OClock this system much, as the board is rubbish, but I bought them for my new upgrade that I'll be building...

Not tested fully yet... but suspect the RAM is holding me back at the timings I have. Little point in trying until I get a PCI SATA card then, as it's pretty much maxed out.

Relatively new to OCing... but been reading this thread with interest. Gotan A64 3400+ here, on a Asus K8V Deluxe. I read that the promise controller is on the secondaty PCI and locked at 33MHz... so...
