yeah. the memory probably isnt even Winbond. Sounds like Cruical rebadged, or even Hynix.

Even so, 249mhz @ 3.2v is an awesome result.

Yet another reason why I dont like shuttle's garage. Aside from the Vdimm voltage mod, it has sucky stock performance, memory compatibility issues, and flakey BIOS problems. Bah!

Why upgrade? You have an awesome system. I'd stick that money into an account, and let it collect interest until Socket 939 comes out :)

Have you tried running the boards in before volt modding? My ZNF3-150 runs day in/day out at 255mhz 1:1 2-2-2-11 using 3.1v.

    Hi Guys

I've currently got a ZNF3-150 board, and have found it to be pretty fast. I've just been offered the ZNF3-250 for 200/250 AUD. I am very tempted (always tempted hehe), to try new hardware,...

    Memory: Burning In?

    Hi Guys

I picked up two generic sticks of Winbond BH-5, and these things fly @ 240mhz @ 2-2-2-9 @ 3.1v. I am interested in learning how to burn these in.

Its not a FSB as such, but HTT. The Bus will run its specification 800mhz, or 1600mhz DDR. Currently, only the Via KT800 chipset has full 800mhz hyper transport link (Nvidia is 600mhz).

I am able to change everything in the BIOS, except the Cas timing function. I'll use Winflash to backup my current BIOS, then save it to FTP.

    Bumping this.

Where have people found the limits of the board running 1:1 ?

I seem to have hit a wall about 260mhz FSB. It used to be 240mhz FSB, but a Vdimm mod seems to have fixed that :(

    That 40 seconds for 2500mhz is pretty poor. At 2373 (1:1, 237mhz FSB @ 2-2-2-9 @ 2.9/1.7v) I got 36 seconds. This 3000 im using at the moment running 1:1 @ 2400mhz gets 38 seconds.

    :)

You need to use this version of CrystalCPUID, and BIOS C02 to get multiplier adjustments working.

I tried about a dozen combinations, and only this one seemed to work :(
