I have the new drivers and yet I still cannot get Vista to play 5.1. The support line just said only stereo works on Vista.
Is this true?
My speakers are the Logitech Z5500 (5.1 system)
Very nice work...I wish I had gotton some metal for the res mounts and bent it myself. Mine would look a lot better. The rubber edging you put around the power supply holes looks great too. I...
It's under "Custom Products", then "Petra's Tech Items"...or here.
Temps on the mosfets? That would be the reason to have airflow there. I don't want to turn off those fans completely. They are not that noisy at 30%
Only if you use 90 degree fittings --...
Vibration...none. Noise level from fans..pretty high I guess. I have them on 70% right now (they are the middle speed Yate Loons). I may tweek it down more depending on how much temps drop. I...
Can an RD30 be mounted with the input pointing straight up like this:

Ok..pretty much finished for now. I will redo the cpu line in a couple of months if everything is running fine then. I want to lap the CPU, but I didn't want to lap it before I was sure it would run...
Ok..got the video loop done, realizing a really really really stupid mistake in design concept (I will say it again...this is my first w/c build), however I worked past that carefully. I hope my...
The CPU/NB/SB (CNS (too bad it doesn't go CPU/SB/NB with a Y-slpitter then it could be CSN&Y :p:)) is blue...the vid card loop will be red. I got the CNS running...will let it bleed for an hour then...
I don't mind at all. I still give credit to SteveK and Masaville for this build.
If you are going to put the one fan that you can put between the rads at the bottom, then I would suggest getting...
Well, I finally finished the loops. Here's a pic before putting water in. Yes, I haven't clamped the video card loop yet. I want to test the other loop for leaks first since I have to take parts...
Steaming squash is sooo easy though.
Thanks...you know your's and this one was the inspiration for this project.
Last pics for now...here are the switches installed. One rocker switch will be for the ccfls and uv leds on the res's. The other is just for symmetry. One bulgin will be for power and power led,...
I drilled the holes for the fillports and installed.

Had to use 90° fitting from the fillports to the res's...shouldn't cause a...
MMM...looks good...is that toro? Toro just melts in your mouth.
The water plan started off like this

But that won't totally work because the video cards get in the way. The res.'s will have...
I put wheels on the Saban. Had to get a tap kit so that the screws would not go into the bottom of the case. The first tap broke on the third hole and I had to go get another one. One of my 5,000...
The processor (will be lapped in a couple of months):

And I opened up the motherboard box

OK...I promised some pics tonight...so here they are. First dinner -- and it was delicious.

Now, this is how tuna is supposed...
I hope to be finished this weekend. Work/social life and the fact that I've never built a W/C setup has slowed this project down.
I was going to finish the tubing Tuesday night, but realized that...
MCW30s for NB/SB will not allow two plastic clamps between them. For that matter neither will the FuZion waterblock. Using 2275 Tygon tubing.
The pads should have been taped to the bubble wrap that was around the block.
If all you are missing is pads, then you are lucky. I had to wait a week because a 1900 block was put in an 8800GTX...
