Liquid metal on the GPU and CPU... The works... I love that a 10 year old motherboard can still keep up (bootable m.2, USB3, etc. etc...! It is actually ranked #1...

Very Very cool, I am Tempted to over a Dual TEC Controller, and a chiller.... With the chiller i assume i would need two pumps? (One Hot side and one cool side). Is the LCD back lit? Can i swap it...
IF you build it i will buy it. I promise. When you build this Please send me an email and a PM. I will pay a premium. I must have this case.
Basically when the proper tension is applied to the springs your board WILL warp (some boards may be more susceptible to this than others). Some argue that any warp caused by lack of a backplate is...
This.
@rmorse27, not biting...
@Darkside: Yes they are the 1366 plates. Keep an eye out for them.
Spoke at length with performance PC's about an hour ago...
This thread was bumped at a good time... they should have them in no later then Tuesday!
Above poster fails. Get back under your bridge...
What works for your rig does not work in all scenarios. In my scenario i DO need it.
Have one on order now... Thanks to all that tried to help!
Any of them ship to the US?
NM - its $80 usd total... minus well just buy a new block, lol
Who is PPC? Man i can even find anyone besides sidewinder that even SELLS the block these days... Anyone know how to contact the manufacturer?
I'll pay double for anyone that wants to sell me...
Still looking ...All these months later... STILL cant find one... help!
I am very curious if this works as well! I wonder if they manufactured the bottom plate to bow or if it was flat to start then deformed after mounting (intentionally or unintentionally).
I guess...
Same thoughts as you heh... I thought i had to take the block apart to find the plate... I guess the 1366 version ships with the divider already removed.
So, has anyone done any temp testing on the removal of the internal plate yet?
I am curios... It seems the plate was designed for multi core CPU's, but then rumors say it actually performs...
Bump - Anyone found any? Help!
Kind of hard to tell the results from the pics... Can we have some numbers?
Lucky you... i did the same thing and it never shipped =[
Killer testing... thanks for the input!
Ya i was thinking the EK may work. According to sidewinder it requires 6/32 threads.

DD has the back plate for this block? Im looking frantically for one too... Please let me know what you wound up with.
Will other backplates fit the heat killer 3.0 threads?
omg.... always something! So, now that sidewinder is sold out and i dont see the back plate at the above retailer what is an American who needs one asap to do?
Thanks for any leads!
Come on stop messing with me lol... its 230 am here and i have a 9am meeting... Does this url come with what i need or not? :D
The block in in the mail now and the backplate sold out in 3 days......
Yes skippy, i did take the time to read that tidbit... This easy could have meant the size of the plate attached to the block is 1366 compatible. It does not say "Back Plate" does it?
Anyhow...
Question - Does the Heat Killer 1366 - http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/heatkiller1366.html come with the 1366 back plate or did you have to buy it separately?
Please have this built now, kthx. I will pay $400.
AS above poster stated i would have loved to see a Feser 120.3 in here!
Other thoughts... I am kind of angry to se that the HW Labs GTX does so well at only 1600RPMs. All the ranting in here...
