BTW If you stay too long in BIOS, it will freeze.

First one is (I think) earlier PBC revision (40GCMG020-B500-005 vs 40GCMG020-D400-100), have extra jumpers and diagnostic ports on-board.
Second one is different version (80-MSVBD0-G0D01-1001)?...

I think you wasted your time and money:

a - this board will not run any Windows - Linux only (unless you planning running it as VM)
b - as for today Opteron 8382 will not work with board (8360SE...

Sorry, but 8101's are no go for Arima. Install client v.7 and run -smp only.
