Greetings all,
It's been a while since i have looked into new parts for a new build. My brother is looking to build a new pc and i was looking for some advice. He has a max of around $1k AUS to...

Just games and movies. He has a max to spend of that, so the most bang for your buck, the better.
Greetings all,
I am building a new system for my friend, problem it has been a while since i have actually looked into PC parts. He basically has a max of $1000 AUS to spend (we live in...
The left half of the screen shows the windows is loading, the right gives the physical memory dump blue screen then resets. When replacing a driver, what do you do?
Greetings all,
The other day i used a driver cleaner to get rid of my current drivers for my 2 sapphire cards. When i restarted windows, it would get into the windows 7 loading screen, then the...
I'm playing Dark Souls now for the first time on PC now and love it, but definately need controller. I enjoyed Guild Wars 2, but it does become very bland later on. I voted on Borderlands, set out...
Basically i just played through it. Finished it now.
Nothing is OC in my system as of yet, so thats not the problem. I've been playing in window mode so far with 0 crashes so will continue to do so until the problem is fixed.
Previous drivers didnt allow crossfire, even running 1 7970 i was getting between 25-32fps, which is shocking. Not sure what i can do.
What's power target?
Hey people,
Just started playing far cry 3 today and absolutely love it. The only problem i am having is it freezes a hell of a lot. Anytime i try to scavenge or even change weapon causes it to...
From what i have read it will use Frostbite. It will be interesting to see when (in regards to when the original series was set) they will place this new one.
I use a Caselabs M8 in my last build. The quality in these cases are absolutely amazing!
I would say they wouldnt change the main majority of the layout of the card. Measure to make sure that the pads connect to the card and you should be fine. I am pretty sure the stock air cooling is...
The email i received from Koolance stated that that little area doesnt actually cool anything. I think it is more there to make sure that the naked block (metal) doesnt come into contact with that...
Apparently nothing in that section cools anything, its more of an extra point to secure the cards to the board.
I should be able to modify the block the make it fit, by cutting off this section:

Talked to Koolance they said it should be alright, will take the block apart to double check anyway.
Yeah I think I will. This has gone on far enough. The thing is, they are great cards, so i never wanted to get different ones. Does anyone know who i should contact in regards to this problem in Aus?
I am hoping that i can just cut a section of the block away and that will make it fit.
I'm hoping I can modify the koolance blocks to bypass the capacitors. I don't particularly want to sell my cards and lose money then to buy two more. I think it's...
Well there last message was this:
Hi Matt :
We'd liked to but we cannot due to -
1. HD7970 series is the top VGA card from AMD side and there will be no higher one can replace to you....
They just responded with the fact that they no longer use standard pcb boards for all there cards, therefore they have no reference boards in stock. Am i :banana::banana::banana: out of luck...
I seem to be going around in circles with them. All i have asked them to do is replace my current cards with reference ones (i don't care if they have the boost function or not). Now there saying...
