can you try running pi on both cores? I heard that the first intel D chips automatically reduced the clock of the second core when temps got too hot, is it the same with the new chips? also any idea...

with a phase change on a cpu, it has to constantly continuously compress the gas, an A/C is only on when the temp gets too high

yes...but you would also have to make some mods to the heatercore, well dangerden has some nice heatercores for cheap
