How does the pump compare to the pseudo MCP35x on the H220/320?
Thinking of the following:
-Swiftech Apogee Drive 2
-Swiftech MCR320 Drive B
-Up to 2 X GPU blocks (haven't picked one yet)
-Second rad somewhere (if needed)
-Maybe a second reservoir...
Finally we have reached the penultimate update of the silent Lian Li! I got my Arctic Cooling S1 Plus heatsink at last and installed it a few nights ago. I thought their G1 thermal adhesive was going...
Case - Streacom FC5-OD
Mobo - Gigabyte G1 Sniper M3 (got a pretty good deal on it, needed the features over power savings)
Proc - i3 3225 (mainly because of the HD4000 graphics)
Ram - 8GB Samsung...
No point, the ATX case format is flawed for convection. The darn sinks are pointing the wrong way, should've had a upside down ATX case and stuck with a single GPU.
Ingenious if I may say so, 30# test cable (believe it or not, temps did go down as the weight of the cooler was pulling the sink away from the cores on top):

Should've had Display Port included in the last generation of the Gene-Z :(.
A few quick pictures of my new system, will take better ones soon:

Dry graphite?
A bit late to the concert, but consider some Class D amps or the venerable Chipamps.
I've tried that Diamond stuff and found that it was a bit better than Arctic Silver, haven't bothered trying anything else.
I had to download several extensions to keep my old Firefox 3.6 layout, the menus were slightly reorganized and I'd find myself clicking the wrong button all the time because I was so used to the old...
Yeah P67 does overclocking, Z68 just expands it to the IGP as well and includes a video out (though most of the boards I've seen don't include that for some reason, making Z68 a lost cause IMO).
Isn't there anything about using Fud as a news source, or is it just me?
I cannot possibly think of any reason why anyone would want to buy this card. Any audiophile worth his salt would've gotten a run of the mill soundcard that outputs coaxial or SPDIF and called it a...
Yeah, no. Hell no, for $411 you can get a pretty damn good external DAC/amp.
This couldn't be more true, look how they ran Ultimate Ears to the ground when they bought them out a while ago, pathetic.
Not to worry, I am quite content with my Benchmark DAC1 PRE hooked up to my mono-block Gainclones. :p:
Ummm yeah, no thanks. I will be taking my $300 to some place else. I'm sure many other DACs will beat this Asus. It looks like crap TBH and I'm always a bit hesitant when a company randomly branches...
I got those too until I started using usenet. Alot of the stuff I download (music etc...) are hosted on megaupload and similar so I avoid torrent problems.
Don't complain about internet prices, Canadians have it the worst...
I've been going over the 60GB cap every month for over a year now...$2 per GB! F**KING ROGERS...it's almost IMPOSSIBLE not to go over when you're in a house with three other people who use computers...
I did this thread I believe half a year back, but of course, the info back then doesn't apply anymore.
Requirements (IN CANADIAN DOLLARS):
1) Max price (with monitor): $1500, $1200 (without...
XP worked, people hate change, and it was a drastic one at that.
This is turning into snake oil...it's up to you if you believe it makes a difference. Try it out, then report back.
