Is it really that bad?.. I was planning to run 2 DDCs on 9V each...
1. The author of that article is known as Jordan at overclockers.ru and all his reviews are first published there (in Russian) and only after that at X-bit Labs.
2. However questionable some results...
Got an picture from MIPS

Their MCH137 block fits, so it seems.
I've just received an email from Eddy. He says they'll have mosfet blocks for P5K series in about 2 weeks.
On the other hand, MIPS answered me that their blocks for P5WDH fit P5K mosfets.
Guys, can anyone post pics of mosfets's areas WITHOUT stock heatsinks? :help: And I would most appreciate if anyone can measure the difference in mosfet's placement and holes for heatsink between P5K...

Some updates.
First.
I've found a nice way to silence Laing DCC - not to buy it! :) So, I'll be using a 220V circulation pump from Grundfos, UPS 25-40. It's has 4 meters of head pressure, 3-speed...
Nope, it won't :) I'll find some way to make it inaudible. The more challenges - the better :) Especially when I always have an opportunity to switch to silent fans and PA120.X if I get sick with...

Unfortunately, I've already got my mem ordered, so I won't buy another one. If only one could buy that FlexXLC Heatsink alone, without memory... Well, it seems i'll have to leave a thin...
It is still the quietest pump there is (except for low-performance Eheims), isn't? And I'll surely make some noise dampering box for it.

I'm doing it 100% passive not just because of the noise, but also for fun and challenge :)
As for the airflow - it will be present, the case will have its bottom and top perforated...
That's exactly why I want to have a clear one! :)

Gonna cool E6600 with a single 8800GTS, both overclocked and overvolted. Plus some 2x1Gb OCZ at 2.2-2.4 for 4-4-4 at arount 1000-1100.
That's bad :( Are there...
So, I've finally started my own got_a_bunch_of_noob_questions_about_WC thread :) Just try not to throw heavy things at me and everything will be ok ;)
Now, first of all to make things clear – I do...
Btw, why? I mean, ok, delryn is theoretically better, but is there any actual difference?

Thanks! Cus' i found only 1 offer for 1950Pro at $300, going double X1900GT at newegg.com was an obvious solution.
Thanks everybody!
Ebay... well, there's only one offer there... I'll try to catch it, but other options somewhere are more than welcome!
Guys, I'm sorry if this isn't the right forum to post my question to, but I'm really in a great need of your help
I've just found out that I can have an X1950Pro AGP (yeah, I know AGP...
Here are some results from overclockers.ru, test using both overclocked and overvolted cpu. The results are quite amazing - the HS is capable of passively cooling overclocked (but no overvolted)...
