i have a vertex 3 incoming today and i was thinking of using my 9260-4i to connect it.
But now after reading some SSD tweak guides i could not find out if the controller supports AHCI...

When ??????? can i buy it!

If you get that message "type mismatch" using integrated M-Flash never flash otherwise you brick the board!

ok after upgrading to a 5870 and latest 1.7B5 bios for the MSI GD70 i got the following...

way better than before and no crashes anymore.

I like Tuniq TX2 best.
TX2 is easier to apply than MX2 but has same performance.

Running Phenom II 955 with 8GB @ 1600 MHz 7-7-7-24 1T at specified 2.0V DDR3 though.

No special timing tweaks, my guess is the PII 955 does the trick.

Well bios V1.3 did two things for me.

Now i am running 8GB @ 1T @ 1600! Before same timings @ 2T.

And they solved a bug with changing bios multipliers in bios while having a pcie card.

Did you guys use the integrated M-Flash utility?
And if yes did it warn you before it actually started to flash? Like "ROMID dismatch" ?

I flashed from 1.2 to 136beta and my gd70 seems to be toast now.

The last thing i remember was the message "romid dismatch force flash", and i figured well...

well this sounds like a bios bug since i can raise the multiplier in windows with no problems.

I got 4x2 GB PVS34G2000LLKN and they work fine in the GD70.

I run them at 1600 speed with 7-7-7-24 t2 timing.

Dont know about the PVS34G1600LLKN but i guess they work too.

I am having issues getting a higher NB aswell.
As soon as i raise the NB mulitplier just one step the board refuses to boot.
Even raising NB vid and stuff causes no boot, but still working on it....

I tried to increase NB clock from 2 GHz to 2.2 by raising multiplier but not increasing voltage and board refused to boot, even after touching voltages.
