You need to plug a molex connector into the HDD plug and a floppy connector into the floppy plug (below the cpu) for power for the board. They aren't meant for a power source.
You won't need to burn them in.
Try out 2.7~2.75v first and see how high you can take them..more volts on TCCD doesn't always mean a higher and more stable OC.
It's UTT or BH-5 right?
If it's a pretty decent FX-55 you should be able to hit atleast 3ghz with it on phase

When it asked for a system disk i ran a windows 98 boot disk and followed some prompts untill i came to the command prompt and then put in my floppy with the...
Sharp from DFI-street gave me some advice to try out so I did and this is what happened.. Error message
Also tried to boot in safe mode, but no dice :(
I don't have another board handy right now that i could hotflash it with :(

After loading optimized defaults from the bios and rebooting I now get this error (see attatchment)

Well I just went out and bought a brand new SATA drive (Maxtor) and hooked it up instead of the raptor and went for a fresh XP install...
No dice :(
At "starting windows" in the setup...
This PC I'm on is old and doesn't have any SATA ports :(
I've never used the recovery console before so im unsure on how to get there..?
Raptor is in the boot list and its being picked up and the SATA controller is enabled.
Windows is on the HD from a previous system with an Ultra-d.
Not overclocked, I've had the system assembled for about 10 minutes and can't get past this error yet :(
Yeah it's the only HD I have hooked up to it :(
Hi guys,
I'm setting up a new Ultra-d on one of my PC's and I've run into an odd problem.
When I turn the pc on it shows the BIOS logo and begins to boot and then displays this error:

Hot mosfets, unstable volts, risk to damage board or ram etc.
Don't use it ;)
If you're up for some TCCD go for the Gskill FF :D
Try out 2.7 or 2.6v to boot. 2.8 seems to high :stick:
