I managed to do the same thing to one of my kingston hyperX sticks trying to remove the heatsink :D.
It cant be repaired.

There is no way I can get an RMA now? 300 + Euros for ram is no joke! they claimed 5 years warranty :(

soul, I tried both the ultra 120 and the Ultra 120 EX with this mod, the temps didnt go up at all :D

system and cpu temps? I really dont think this mod does that, I have a rear 120 mm that blows the out air hot so I didnt really see any increase in my cpu or mobo temps :D

install a new os for him and let him watch on haha

I owned both of them, A GTX 240 and a PA120.3, used Scythe 63CFM fans on both of them,

The PA120.3 gave me exactly 2-3C lower temps compared to the GTX 240.
I have only my CPU cooled by a Dtek...

haha not only G.skill but also other brands ;) a friends cellshock Pc6400 gmh just died on him :eek: he was running at 2.2V 24/7 stock speeds

I think all micrions die fastly compared to cheap...

pretty nice temps ;) but I think the core area isnt being cooled enough, with just 1 fan.

holla, I got a XFX8800 GTS 320, I installed the card and noticed that the card was running pretty hot, at least for my taste 55-58C idle 65-70C load.

I didn't have enough money to buy an...

thats the reason I use a Car coolant! :D

the ultra also has a pretty flat surface.. And a small rubber bush will fix that mouting clip :p:

yup thats what i been using for the last 3 months, p.s I have a 120.3 and a GTX 240 :D make sure you get the Anti algae from your local shop that sells fish tanks :p:

here im using Distilled water + car coolant with a bit of antifungal, You can use the samething you would use on your fish tanks.. They are cheap and Im sure you can find them locally ;) (prevents...
