Thanks for clarifying this.
Never heard of the term "harmonics" used in fluid mechanics before. If you are saying that pressure drop is a function of the square of velocity, then yes.
Did you measure each sub-loop flow...
Yes, but some people put a 120.4 on a CPU loop only to maximize the overclocking of the CPU while putting everything else on the other loop with whatever radiator since it does not matter. This is...
Already have the bigNg and several miniNGs. I dig the Aquasuite softare which is what moved me over. Mcubed lack of support with software is pure bull:banana::banana::banana::banana:.
Have you...
Big time. Ordered two, one was borked and they do not make them anymore. Have two pumps, so SOL.
These items do not take the place of the poweradjust.
I can appreciate the amount of time to perform this testing, but there are two things that bother me and I cannot let go.
1. As others have said, adding the flow from each loop is not fair. By...
Good luck finding this anywhere in stock. If you do, let me know where.
I think you screwed the aftermarket top on too tight. I had this happen before. Whilr=e running, slowly back off slightly each screw until squeeling stops.
I recommend you read the stickies.
My experience with monitoring the temperature difference at the entrance and exit of the radiator show little "cooling" difference or at most 1° differential. I had to do this to see for myself.
...
To me, you will still have basically a single loop if you comingle the water from the two loops into a common reservoir. The water will mix averaging out the "cooler" water with the "warmer" water. ...
You may be surprised like me when adding a second pump to a large single loop does not necessarily help your CPU/GPU temperatures.
After a "magic" point, increased flow rate only marginally...
I would not recommend this. They are very different pumps. There are a lot of threads about this you can research.
I think it would work fine. however, I would put the 3.1 before the DDC-1 as I would like to have the pump with higher pressure at the end with the lesser pump feeding it.
A dual top will never perform as well as two separated pumps in series with aftermarket tops.
The 90° inlet turns into the impellers within the dual top is a hindrance to performance.
The...
As the others have eluded, the extra flow rate given by the second pump is offset by the additional heat dump from the second pump.
For me, temps remained basically the same with one or two...
I like the way you enhanced the pictures with text. Very nice.
I think they work great and quiet as well. I made my own Shoggy Sandwhich to isolate any vibrations (no metal to metal contact) from the case.
Thanks bud.;)
Here it is.

Wrong. I have been watching this thread waiting for you to do some basic research. I like to help, but there are numerous threads here at XS as well as at the Mcubed website that tells you about...
Does the water really run through the metal housing part or is it using the foil bags as on the older design? I wish they had a close-up picture within the gap.
I only use plain distilled and nothing else, 3603 clouded within days. I am a cleaning nut and it did not help.
The U-shaped tubing that would connect the inlet to the outlet for a good...
I think the aftermarket top vendors reduced the size of the inlet (suction)hole in this current generation to match the smaller impeller diameter of the DDC 3.2s.
The first generation aftermarket...
Unless you do a "bucket" flow rate test at various levels of RPM. Agreed a pain in the rump to do.
I have been watching this exact link for the last week and it ALWAYS says 48 hours..lol
