Not sure what you mean. I have the M5000 key. I did not check whether it still worked when I had the 9260 FW on it. You can always flash back if it doesn't though.
+1 on this. No pagefile here even on OSX. Not a single problem and I have been running for many years this way going from Win XP to Win7.
Wow... it starting to look like a ramdisk...
Yes, my Patriot are currently running 9-11-9-27-1T. These sticks have XMP settings at 9-11-24-2T. I even tried 9-11-9-27-2T @ 1975MHz and the computer won't even boot.
Well they seem to be crap. I was unable to run them at the same settings as my Patriot. Again I am on X58 with 24GB of them but even a pair would not run anything beyond 1866MHz 9-9-9 @ 1.7V....
Will do. I hope they will behave better than the Mushkin Redline 2133MHz which could not even hold 1866MHz 9-11-9-27 1T for me. I am on an X58 platform though.
I am currently running patriot Viper...
They should yes unless you change monitors and go with Surround or something.
I have a couple of sets coming tomorrow morning. I am curious as to how they perform. They are actually the tightest timings I have seen for 4GB sticks at this speed.
Cached IO made my benches drop a little bit across the board except maybe for the sequential read/write.
Computurd, are you sure you were not having write back cache instead?
9265 FP NoRA/WT/DIO...
Ok I'll try it sometime next week end. I am of to Asia for a business trip next week.
My board suddenly became very unstable. I can't even boot into windows with settings which were prime/LinX stable. Clear CMOS is next... Never had this many problems with the eVGA Classified board...
Do you know how I would disable FP? It looks like I would need to delete the key... I am rebuilding an array right now. Been screwing around too much. I am getting an 8 C300 128GB one.
No read ahead, direct I/O, Cache enabled and WT
No need to PM him. He and I are one and the same.... I just used different names on different forums. :)
For whatever it's worth. This is my testing of the 9260 Vs 9265 with and without FP

The 9265 without FP is not as good at the 9260 with FP although...
It will depend more on your CPU IMC than on the board. The only 4GB sticks that have a chance to reaching 2000MHz at any timing right now are Hynix. PSC are only 2GB sticks and unless there is...
It's in the file on the first post...
Edit: nevermind. you want the spd file?
Yes it should work as long as you know for sure that it has a LSI 2108 controller.
Yes it can be done on other LSI cards. I actually adventured myself doing this based on someone who did it on a M1015. I found the SBR file for the H700 on a dell forum and I owned both a 9260 and a...
It depends more on the CPU and the memory than the board. I have not been too succesful beyond 2000MHz but I am on a AIO WC so I am limited in terms of voltage.
posting my results with 4 C300 128gb 64kb SS:
No FP/FP with NRA DIO WT/FP with NRA DIO WB.
With Writeback the Sequential and low queue depth is actually better but the longer queue depth...
Very likely to be a driver corruption indeed.
Yeah I found out that I need to order the LSI00266 P/N. Some resellers have it in the US and it can be emailed...
Disappointing but the Monoprice cables are actually the exact same cables the OP has had problems with. They are definitely to be avoided.
