slot 1 is native directly to the cpu while slot 2 is via PLX bridge, the recommended slot 1 was just so u get a slight perf benefit by running directly to the cpu stead of via plx

not really becos of that, it does not have the hw for fully manual mode and the profiles and even presets bears in mind the auto rules for SAioad with fully manual mode so it is not easily portable.
