Looks great!
Why not just get a Corsair Hydro series? They probably have better performance than most heatsinks out there and leave you with plenty of space for high profile RAM

Hahahaha ...Awesome post! Nice to see you taking your time with this build, it looks great.
Looks pretty good, you may want to mention retail price in the first post.
Also how loud is it with dual (stock or silent) fans?
Don't mean to kill this thread, but there was a thread on this in the news section a while ago which goes into detail/theoretical speculation of how it works:...
OMG, just saw that. That is so awsome! Contacted my members of congress :P
I don't think this bill will pass though, at least I really hope it doesn't.
LoL, I also got a random crash and slow stuttering (about 4 FPS). It only crashed once on me though, and I have it uninstalled right now because I couldn't stop playing it :( but I don't remember it...
What do you guys think:
I got a 25% code off fans from newegg for buying something recently and I was looking at Cougar fans... but 300,000 hours MTBF? Not even Noctua claims that (granted it's a...
I've had service from Best Buy on my old Gateway P-7811 FX... That said the extended warranty from Best Buy is around $100 per year (really not worth it), but I got back then I was still in high...
G Skill Ripjaws... amazing price for the rest of today too:

I have to agree with Frag Maniac, lighting doesn't look too good and I don't have high hopes for it looking much better once it's released. Don't really care for the BF2 discussion as I never got...
You could do the opposite although you may end up with poor exhaust yet again. If you can get a fan over the gpu on the side panel it should be blowing air away from it no onto it - it's more helpful...
A lot of people use Gentle Typhoons on radiators, so they'd be good on a heatsink as well as they have good static pressure.
6 NF-P12s is good. It's what I have and they work great. Quality fans,...
You can get the Noctuas and the Magmas dirt cheap at Directron.com.
-Directron may not be the best deal if you can get some of these fans locally.
I can say that both the NF-P12s and the blue NB...
I was going to mention that. Seriously though you want absolutely nothing near that thing, no cables and you better watch your fingers. I've hit my fingers on my fans a few times and it has never...
LOL. I always thought I was the only one who didn't like that game. Never got into it, never understood what all the hype was about. BF 1942 was a whole lot more fun for me even after Halo came out...
Heh, maybe it is just certain games or maybe my re-install file was just corrupt for some reason  Steam doesn't make it easy to recover the data from their backups in case the installer fails...
Sweet, HD Textures would be great. Better combat also, no more standing in the line of fire and taking virtually no damage. :D
Does the Steam backup actually work for you? I tried backing up Oblivion a few days ago since I was going to be installing a lot of mods and it failed completely to restore the game. I searched for...
LOL, those examples are hilarious. That people actually believe them (why?)... isn't.
Upgraded from Q6600 @ 3.45GHz to SB. Still haven't taken the time to properly overclock my 2500K (running at 4.5GHz and all I did was raise multi in BIOS and set Vcore to 1.35V), nor the memory. But...
Nice review. Any chance you could swap out the fans and write a little on the thermal and noise performance with different fans? Commander_HK47 and [XC] Synthetickiller wanted to know in this thread....
That makes sense -learn something new everyday-, but I wasn't using a TV and it still did it, lol. Never happened with my 8600 GTS or 460 GTX, oh well.
Lol, I remember having to do this with my HD 4770 every Windows re-install or on some driver updates.... which is why I rarely updated drivers. It is pretty annoying having to have to reset it to...
