Raja: can this new version of AI Suite 3 available for download with one of the H97M boards be used with my H87M-PRO? mainly interested in Fan Xpert 3 and EPU features which are bundled in...
afaik, there is no 780 lightning with two fans. there is just one model of the 780 lightning with yellow colorbar on top and 3 fans (yellow one in the middle). but there is a gaming version of this...
that''s a rather hypothetical question. regarding to various sources, msi manufactured just 12 pieces of this card. don't get me wrong, but if you are the lucky one to get hold of three of them: you...
splave: dont want to highjack your thread, but regarding your 780's:
are this lightnings or something else? curious if a non (ti) 780 lightning is able to reach such clocks as your 780ti...
could not save it with gpuz either.
you can use nvflash, the same tool you use for flashing. dont remember the correct switches, but nvflash will save the bios to a file. at least this worked for...
CrazyNutz, the observations made by trayton brougt up my doubts regarding voltagetables again.
you said kgb will flash all tables to the same value and boost voltage simply will be selected by...
is this the complete table?
so max possible boost voltage is 1.2150V ?
CrazyNutz, need some clarification:
here is the output of my stock bios (680 lightning)
Power Target: 225000
Max Power Target: 300000 (133%)
Voltage Table:
did a quick check:
my lightning bios has already a powerlimit of 300%
was curious to see what happens if i run unlock to set the new powerlimit to 150% (as intended to be set during unlock) or...
i'm interested in that too ...
anyway, as an owner of a 680 lightning im already able to take full voltagecontrol of my card using afterburner!
but i'm looking for a way to extend the fan range...
sergio, any reason you don't go for msi gtx680 lightning? like the voltage control by software! and it's quiet too ...
all voltages as read by DMM. did not check voltages in ab.
MSI N680GTX Lightning
default Afterburner Setting 1 Afterburner Setting 2
2d 3d 2d 3d...
as somebody already pointed out: its simply impossible to achieve temperatures below ambient!
bios temps are reported most times by reading the voltage from a thermal diode. its up to the bios...
would expect it within the next three weeks! there is a thread discussing this on the asus rog forums: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?12664-Maximus-V-Formula
some ppl hope its earlier but...
so formula is the way to go, as there's no EE in sight ...
hopefully it's out within the next couple of weeks. upgrade of my equipment is due. don't know how long i will be able to stand by...
Raja@ASUS:
any info on release dates of upcoming z77 boards?
maximus 5 formula?
rampage 5???
don't want to bash the party here, but looking at intel's datasheet i found the following figures for max voltage specs and absolute max ratings (red):
VCC 1.35V 1.4V
VCCPLL 1.881V 2.0V
VCCD ...
your going to test OCZ Freeze? used it and was happy with it, but cant find it here (europe) anymore and was told its already discontinued. is it still sold in the us?
Sparky, besides algae and the debris the dark colored surface on your blocks looks like oxidation to me.
have a look at this thread where i used lemon acid and salt to get rid of oxidation.
...
whats the model number of the fan your interested in. have some nzxt fans here ...
the controller has its own firmware and will run without the system booted. the problem here is just how to get temperature information. usually the software will monitor various sensors and supply...
have this in mind already
not sure if i understand you correctly, but there will be the ability to "calibrate" a fan. when regulating a fan the regulation will target a certain rpm...
but keep in mind, the figures i posted are the limits of the voltage regulators and switching transistors used but are way above the limits of the standard fan headers. when driving such loads...
Fan1 - Fan4: each channel can individually be configured to run either in LVC or PWM mode:
completely analog when running in LVC mode
digital when running in PWM mode
Fan5 - Fan7 (when...
