Hi Piotres! Wanted to pm you but seems that you've exceeded the maximum limit of pms in your mailbox.
Great job piotres! I like your painting style -)
BTW what is the actual life resource of properly built rotary units of this type?
Lucky you are man!
+1
Thanks guys!
Still have to work a little bit on 3DM11 efficiency. And I hope to clock the rAM on this card much higher to improve Heaven DX11 -))
This story started in the early July – exactly at the beginning of the Futuremark Lords of Europe Challenge. Remembering last-year success at MSI MOA Worldwide and being angry because of the total...
piotres How long is the captube in this project?
quake6 LittleDevil's units are true masterpieces!
Show us some temps on the real loads! It would be really nice to see the unit in 'live' action
Thought that longer captube = smaller freon charge to get the gas properly condensed into liquid.. am I wrong? -)
Anyway the question about static pressure in this unit remains open.
Thanks!
Pity that I've missed this topic earlier.
Patrick, what is the static gas pressure for this unit? I suppose it should be quite high with that captube...
hmm.. +449 mV on the core.. I wonder how much would be that on the multimeter (noticed that software isn't precise enough and very close values may put quite different voltages).
Did anyone follow...
Quite interesting build especially concerning I'm going to try my best at building smth similar soon -)
n00b could you please give us some specs of that rotaries? Unfortunately found nothing :/
Ah, Ok. so I've already got it -)
Very strong scores with only 1300 MHz core!
BTW what is that black thing on the photo?

Is that usual but thin k-flex or smth else?
What is APS?
p.s. I suppose putting some bigger resistances that you've mentioned would not give such a critical OCP boost. Safer but no time to check that.
+110
and what happened? probably it still could be fixed?
anyway sorry to hear that.
Haha Matose thanks for the support
I'd like to believe it could not be worse than our 1180 MHz but.. shi(f)t sometimes happens. We'll see :D
As usual, luck factor matters at least as...
It's not Win7, it's Hydra ;)
Run some graphics tests on Marshal and any other P67 board. There is really huge difference.
unfortunately it's not the GPU clock, I was talking about mem :)
I've mentioned above that our card is a kind of real shame for MSI. GPU = 1180 MHz without additional hardmod, 1200-1210 with mod...
it should not. PCI-E is designed to have pretty long but stable lanes if necessary.
tiborrr I admire your cascade setup -)
You guys should definitely put that card under LN2!
our card's mem OC decreases much after GPU is totally maxed out. e.g. 1330 RAM -> 1220, though when GPU is not - RAM seems to be perfect.
Gained extra 30-50 MHz GPU and max stable RAM clocks after...
any tests list?
we just run some Pi, and the difference compared to other boards is too slight to notice it for the first look -)

p.s. slower in 3D. 2D seems to be OK.
Trust me mate, the Lightning we with my teammate T0lsty currently have is a REAL SHAME for MSI :D
Will share the details later as well as the unusual hardmod that helps to clock RAM on these babes...
