They are close. But the PS3 seems to win out IMO.
Well the one that in the KC area is closing down. I guess it's time for a final visit.
absolutly incredible!
The 3dmark numbers are even out of whack!
They ran it at 10X7 when the default is 12x10. Sparkle could have marketed this additional cooling better.
Amazing results!
we just going to revert to using pencil and paper then :p:
Good news here. The improved start up time will be a nice bonus.
This can because of the the memory bandwidth issues of GDDR3 vs GDDR4. 16xAF and 4xAA does take alot of memory usage.
It won't take much time for the community to change how we name an object. When conroe change to C2D after the offical naming, it was maybe a week at most before the community changed?
or more likely if you fold 24/7 with these things.
Maybe we need a good physics upheavel. Newtonian physics has been around for far to long:rolleyes:
If I put wings on it would the case fly?
If the two chips are a reality it is nice to see nVidia pushing the bleeding edge forward with GPUs. I wonder if the midrange cards 8600GTX/GS will have a two GPU set up like thier higher end...
sorry I was asking when PRAM was going to be applied.
I wonder how it will take to start using this in applications?

You wouldn't see a benifit till programs use 4GB+ of RAM.
To your question about 64bit computing with 4GB is that with 32bits the OS can only address 3.XXGB of RAM. With a 64bit system the OS can address 2^64 bits of RAM.
I wouldn't think so because the R600 will have internal crossfire bridges.
I am glad the progress is being made with F@H
agreed:slobber:
