Been away for a while helping out other teams, but Movieman's e-mail got me back. I have 2 2600k's back on XS.
Not sure what your budget is, but this Asus is a great little lappy. link
I think this is a good idea. Here is what I have right now, I'll edit later for the idle watts.
Rig 1
CPU: 2600K
CPU Speed: 4600
CPU Volts: 1.34

I'm using a H70 with a 1156 i7. It cools pretty good, but not a lot better than the megahalems I was using before. The stock fans are loud as hell at full rpms. I'm using 2 gentle typhoon 1450 fans...
That's some dedication, very impressive goosey
How many do you need? Pm me your addy and I'll hook you up. :toast:
Hey Sparky, here is a great template courtesy of wazza300 at tweaktown forums. Lots of info on these boards there.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. :toast:
That is very nice. I'm around 130-135w with my i3 at 4.2, 5770 idle, 1 optical, 2 HDD, 3 240mm, and 3 120mm fans, average about 18k a day. The sandy is almost double that output for nearly the same...
Cigarette tax is pretty high here. A pack is over $5 and I'm sure that at least half of that is tax. I'm not a smoker, so it doesn't affect me, but at 5 bucks a pack I think I'd try and quit.

No income tax here in Washington either, but the sales tax in Seattle is 9.9% Not sure how much of that is from the state, but the each city and county have a different rate. Property taxes are high...
Yup, full system, I was getting about 35k a day from that. So if these produce 45k at 200w, that is pretty damn impressive.
I don't believe that 230w figure either. I ran at 4.2 for months and was always between 260-265w.

That looks fantastic, I think she'll be very happy. Great job.
Very impressive :bows:
If you take off the nameplates they put on the heatpipe sinks, the temps are good. I have had many x58 boards and the gigabytes are great, the UD3R is about the "best bang for your buck' board there...
Here is my 2 cents on the dell. My wife has the XPS 15 with the i7 720QM, 4570 ati card, 1080P screen, backlit keyboard, 6gb ram, and a WD Black 7200 rpm 500gb hard drive. She got it just about a...
I signed up for one. Looks like SNURK is going to be busy. :D
The i3's do real well for their power draw, especially if you use the integrated igp. My i3 is at just over 4ghz and pulls only 115 watts at load, gets about 17k a day.
You need more qpi/vtt voltage. My OCZ's wont boot at less than 1.35v with 8-8-8-20 timings, and for 7-7-7-16 I need 1.415v.
Here's the rest of my info. Gigabyte P55 UD6, Megahalems Rev. B w/GT AP-14 fan. Not sure of the batch, I'll see if I can find the box.
I'm currently moving some stuff around, but will be back up in about a week.
I had a good experience with them on an Eco C240. Sent you a pm with some ideas.
