I haven't visited in a while, but wow Charles. That is crazy that those OC meds did that. Scares the crap out of me too. My wife uses Zyrtec every day. It hardly does anything to her symptoms. I'm...

Tool - Reflections is a very good song for sound testing.
Anything with good dynamics will test a speaker system. I like to use heavy metal if possible. Pink floyd is always good.
Directv isn't compatible with cablecard. Only the likes of FIOS, comcast, TWC, Cox, Charter, etc.
You can use a happauge hd-pvr or colossus to record from directv (or anything with component output). The hd-pvr is usb (component, spdif in) and the colossus is pcie 1x and also can capture...
Been using sagetv for a few years. I love it, but the future is in question with the sale to google. I really like being able to use mymovies and play trailers before the movies for an awesome movie...
I've got blazing saddles on beta and magnum force on vhs. Found them at my grandparents' house.
So...about those electric bills. If they are "too high" and you get reported by the electric company you get raided because you are "growing pot." So if the electric company realizes that they get to...
I bet that old dryer has something to do with it. I'd find out what your rate is so you can watch the meter. I've had the electric company misread my meter before. Good luck.
Your landlord is freaking out at $110 bill at $.10 per kwh? That is 1100kwh. My water heaters draw about 850kwh per month (I know). What are your bills normally? The lowest electric bill I've ever...
Wow. This does bring back the memories. I remember coming over to this forum to lurk and find pencil mods for my old mobo's. This was back in my overclocking.com days.
I remember finding out what...
Thanks for all the replies. I think the WD 640gb drives is what I will get. My 160gb drives will find a home doing something else.
Hey guys, I just bought two WD 160gb aajs single platter drives to use in a raid 0 config, but it turns out they won't be enough space. I was looking at some seagate 320gb drives the 7200.11 series,...
I'm going to guess since nobody responded I should probobly RMA this thing. I've seen it in the evga forums, but nobody could help.
Hey guys. It's been a while since I've posted since I haven't had an internet connection for almost a year (except cell phone). But I do have a problem that is driving me nuts and I can't seem to...
That's no good...
Guess you won't be needing that Viagra after all?

At the rate new processors are coming out I may not get a clover system. By the time I have the extra funds Nehalem will be out. 16 cores and 32 threads. Awesome. I can't wait to have a few of those...
Why do people still link to fud and the inquirer? Most of the "news" they write about is speculation they hear. That and it gets us arguing about who's right. Kinda dumb if you ask me...
Wow. Great job everybody. This is awesome.
Buffering?
I understand that. I'm no programmer, but those cards are still very powerful, but not enough to get decent fps at normal resolutions? Those dx10 games must be terribly inefficient.
Anybody know...
Wow...I haven't been keeping up with this thread. Team japan, there are no words to describe your accomplishments... I'm still shocked to see a 6850 and not your usual 6700, and a P5k vanilla. Wow....
Yea, ya do...

I find it odd that gamers aren't overclockers. The reason I started overclocking is to get more performance out of my games...That was a long time ago when processors still came in slots...:shakes:
This makes me feel like a kid on Christmas day...:D
It is sad when a $270 graphics card can't even render a game at a playable frame rate. dx10 has a lot of maturing to do. That and we need real dx10 games, not ports.
