if you have the extra cash, why not. but 2011 is more of a workstation instead of the gamer side.

i don't think there are brand you should or shouldn't avoid.
a lot of times they are all the same in the end just based on what you get

imo i'd look into which one of those are the samsung hch9...

there is a few that's super cheap on newegg right now

i am using the corsair ones they cost a lot more but runs about the same..

i got it to run at 2600mhz no prob

imo those samsung hch9 are great clockers for strong IMC
