The initial post points to a registered ecc memory module. I just wanted to be perfectly clear that the mainboard ( CrosshairV formula ) doesn't support that module.

You are right about ecc memory...

But no support at all to registered memory modules.

The modules listed are registered ecc usable only in server boards that support it.
Common mainboards supports non registered non ecc modules, except some (rare) asus boards that support ecc.
