Hi guys,
Great cases! I have a query though.

The XSPC Raystorm is NOT, I repeat NOT compatible with LGA2011 as it is currently shipping. The reasons are twofold.
Firstly, on every board I have seen (granted only ASUS X79 Sabertooth and...
Very quick & nasty self portrait of my Leica SLR lenses, I also have a voigtlander SLR lens, and Leica rangefinder and lenses but I don't have time to make enough room for them in the self-portrait...
The OP could, but shouldn't have to. Also if they get an iwaki (or already have one) the silicone bead could be insufficient.
referring to what I said? Yeah B-44-4X is Sodium Hypochlorite and Hydrogen Peroxide safe. Most Tygon varieties are.
Mine is warped in the opposite direction :p:
yeah the B-44-4X clouds pretty quickly. After mine clouded once I bleached it and ran a pipe cleaner through and it's crystal clear atm, we'll see how long that lasts.
Well, it wasn't copper depositing, it was corrosion of my nickel :( depressing, now I will need to buy an EK delrin top  or I might just wait til I get another 4870 X2 for CF and buy two DD...
mine doesn't seem warped :) but who knows, it was only covered half with bubble wrap in a very thin cardboard box when shipped to Australia, maybe that's the cause of the warping?
The...
My next gpu block, as I've said won't be EK.
Nickel is reactive given the right chemical environment, but that sort of environment is very unlikely in our loops. Every metal, including platinum,...
 no, it won't.
even if all the copper precipitated out of the solution I'd say it won't get much worse than this. CuSO4 doesn't promote galvanic corrosion enough to actually damage...
used about 10 drops of CuSO4.5H2O (copper sulphate pentahydrate dissolved in water), not technically pt nuke but same chemical.
EDIT: Here's a pic:

OT: In response to my algae problem I used a bit too much pt nuke this time :S the water is still completely clear but I'm getting orange copper deposits in my nickel EK block, and on all of my...
I had to open mine to clean algae, it is very very very difficult to replace, the o-ring is ever so slightly too big for the indent. I *somehow* managed to get it in... best of luck to you sir.
as others have said just use pentosin, it does the same thing as zerex and IS BLUE.
my feser green faded, stained the tubes as well.
I had an algae problem as well (odd since i had copper sulphate in the loop) but I soaked my tubes in bleach and scrubbed inside every block/res...
Is that a logo for scrubbing bubbles? The stuff isn't readily available in AU, hence my recommending a viable solution that most people have in their laundry.
Bleach is fine in most tygon derivatives, and works very quickly on plasticiser stained tubing (as well as killing ANY living organisms trapped in there). Most of my tubes glistened after about 5...
Decent packaging and barbs, two things I was expecting and didn't get with my EK block. There's a lot to be said for flow in the loop and I would go with whatever gives sufficient cooling while...
24C IDLE at the moment
31C LOAD last night according to CCC
Not bad considering the pump is on 2 (of 5) and I'm cooling CPU & Chipset as well.. CPU @ 4.05GHz 1.3V
My only regret is that the EK...
Just some prelimenary shots of the new rig. Only just got it up & running and I still need lighting and fan control at the front but it's turned out OK.

you usually just get a blend of the colours and largely decreased UV reactivity.
reseated many times and tried an E4300 as well, no dice. I think I found a broken trace near the chipset, hairline split. I'll have to try RMA.
Thanks for the suggestions, but alas I tried all of that. My case isn't so much a case as a home-made benching station, with no metal except the standoffs, but I covered them just in case.
I finally got around to installing my LT x48-t2r and I get nothing, no fans, no power nothing. I do get the standby LED though! but the power button and power sw jumpers get no response. Tried diff...
